  1. Oh my.... Sweet Jesus and All the Little Orphans dave, that looks amazing.  :hyper: The other demos are equally as impressive in terms of the detail involved in the tech...this looks like it's going to totally raise the bar in terms of realism. Stunning! :hyper: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVpLWnF3MWA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pp1stQ49Bfo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4EF9IkhAOo
  2. Seen this one before (photographed in the snow)...looks a bit different now but I can't find the original photos to compare...either way it's still a boil on the rectum of humanity.
  3. Good to have you back! :D How did the ride go?? I bet you had an absolute blast ;) As far as news is concerned, I unfortunately almost started a small riot last week...http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=96592 :x:
  4. My order for the CD & 7" single of Tarantula has already been dispatched and Zetgeist itself is on pre-order but if any fans on hear can't wait before they buy the album (if you're a fan you won't be happy with a P2P rip ;)), the tracks have now appeared on t'interweb! And my Lord, they fVckin' rock. Very raw, harsh guitar tones and scathing riffs. Just been listening to Bleeding the Orchid...amazing :D :D :D :nana2: :nana2: :nana2:
  5. No probs mate ;) Didn't want to worry you over the music video as I know you've been up to your eyes in it with the car! :(
  6. Two months to shoot and edit, working every other weekend or so apparently. Had an idea for a pixilation movie myself to use as a video for one of my tracks but, quite frankly, anything I attempt would pale into comparison next to that. Absolutely phenomenal work.
  7. They're not so much questions as ideas that I thought the membership would like to consider before the AGM though Steve. A lot of people will unfortunately not be able to make the AGM itself so it's possibly worthwhile debating them beforehand to garner the views from as many of the members as possible. I'll post them up seperately.
  8. Any thoughts on the above people? Might get more attention if the ideas were posted seperately as this thread went a bit awry a while back! ;)
  9. Without getting into any slanging matches, I can think of a few things that the members might wish to discuss in the forum before the AGM: 1. All Committee members chosen every year via voting on the forum. New blood and ideas are the lifeblood of any organisation (thanks Tony, hello Gordon n'all that) and I mean no disrespect but it would give other members the chance to particpate at a higher level. 2. If a Committe member steps down or resigns his position during his stay of office, the position is put up for election. 3. At the moment Mods are chosen by the Committee members. I propose that this position is also subject to yearly elections to again give people a chance to participate more freely. 4. Start designing an eye-catching front page. It will look more professional and make it look more like a proper club rather than another BB forum. I previously suggested you could make it a competition among the members. Other smaller issues I've mentioned before re: changes to the functionality of the forum are: 5. Automatic sig size reduction if it's too big. 6. Increase the file size allowance for avatars a bit (the max 100x100 dimension is fine though) 7. The rides section in alphabetical order. (I believe this is in hand?)
  10. Never seen the film Dave but you're right, the book is superb.
  11. Jesus mate, not good :( Only just logged in and seen this after getting back from Glasto. Such a damn shame to see good people go through this kind of sh1t. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's salvageable. Leigh
  12. The best event ever held anywhere in the world? Yes, I'm going...leaving for Glastonbury today! :p  :D ;)
  13. Like the interior but not a lot else TBH. Those wheels are 'orrible! :)
  14. It's not me, it's everyone else with the problem! Honest m'lud... :D
  15. Lol! My Ma's side: very, very arty. Hell, my mom was treading the hippy trail in Ibiza when the only nightlife was Miguel's hooch stand and rides on Carlos the donkey. My Dad's side: not an artistic bone in their body. A good bunch, but mostly convicts, thugs and dubious shady personages. He once regaled me with a tale of a turf war back in London when he and his mate were ambushed by seven guys. Luckily he had a crowbar handy (he was the kind of guy that would keep a crowbat handy lol!) and took 4 of them down before waking up the next day in hospital! How i turned out sane, I'll never know... :wack:
  16. That's just weird. Stop stealing my life! Was thinking the same thing a while back after looking over a 156! Lol! :D ;)
  17. Yeah, the flat panels are okkaaay, but there's something distictly more classy (and classical, in the car sense?) about retro-look horizontal (or half-moon for that matter!) stitched panelling. Always makes me think of classic Alfa's! :)
  18. Which one does it look like?
  19. Anyway, back to the thread...Si, if you get into a dialogue with them would you mind asking if they will do custom stitching on the pre-existing 300zx covers? I would definately go for these seats if they do (ideally I'm looking for something a bit more Alfa-Romeo-esque ie more centre panel horizontal stitching detail).
  20. No experience with either of those but I use a Zoom G2.1u myself which is first rate. Saying that, I've always liked Line 6 stuff. I've played around with their new Variax 700 in the studio and although it doesn't "feel" as good as my SG Special, the amp/guitar modelling is phenomenal.
  21. The developers more than likely put it in. It's a pangram. A sentence that uses every letter of the alphabet. It's been used since the 19th century to test typewriters and computers.
  22. Hey, it's the always exciting transdermal "patch" change day today which means I'm slightly less in cloud-cuckoo land than normal, so unfortunately, for once, it's not the meds matey............. ....... ....... ....... ....... Oh bugger. ;)
  23. First thing I thought when I saw this was that, strangely, aside from the god-awful alloys and in side profile, it looks pretty good... :x: ;) The front annoys me though as that bumper is waaaay too over styled, that particular nose panel I've always hated, and the aforementioned yellow wipers...
  24. Lol! Agreed. "System overload" time Si... :D
