  1. Cheers mate, appreciated :) My thinking exactly Re: Nick...will see if I can co-erce him with the promise of sipping whiskey and black-eyed harlots. ;)
  2. Finally some good news. Just finished the mixing on the first three tracks off my forthcoming album "A Muzzle For The Masses" by The Few. They're going up on the producers' website once he gets it finished. Just need to find an IT guru to help me get my MySpaz page looking good and then put them on for everyone to hear. Life is good again. Just wanted to share :)
  3. But if it's identical to the Jun bumper you won't need to test it, as the design has already proven its suitability to the job?
  4. That photo hurts my soul ;) Yeeeees, sort of, although done a lot better with scalloped recesses, with arches that are about 4 times the size of those. Cheers for the pic, I'd forgotten about that one to be honest as it's in my own Z photo file :) Lol@Mark! ;) Nah, I've come to far to bottle it now :D Steve is no longer working on the project (which is a shame as he'd already come so far with it, but hey....) so, although I've been in touch with another bodyshop I've heard very good things about, they haven't got back to me with a definate yet so I'm starting to think I might grab the bull by the b*ll*cks and finish it myself. It'll take a while longer but hey, I used to be a sculptor and I'm confident in my glassing/mould making (still building that front end! :D) and TBH I need this project to take my mind off other stuff ( ) so, one way or another, it's going to get finished! :D
  5. Where the heck did you pull that figure from!? If you use the stock bumper as a base, sure it would cost but nothing like that!
  6. My search is over! :p
  7. Legrath is right. The only tried and tested Z32 bumper for what you're suggesting is the custom Jun front end. If your serious about it then the best bet is to get someone to make a copy. I'm building a custom front end myself at the moment and it's definately do-able if you have the time (and the funds if you're not doing it yourself). Leigh.
  8. Considering going for a proper race-look with my custom arches and riveting them on. Could anyone recommend any race cars for me to take a look at perhaps post some photos up here to help me decide as I'm turning up a blank with Google so far? Cheers, Leigh.
  9. You're right you know Mark. TBH, after looking at them again I think I'm only going to shave about 5 mm off to lose the step that has been put on them connecting the arch to the body. I'm also seriously toying with the idea of going for a proper race-look "riveted arch" affair...
  10. Er...a lot wider than that at the moment! :D ;) Have decided to cut them back a bit to make them a little more user friendly for day to day driving. Wanted to gauge the width I'm going to be pulling them back to. Ideally so they're still bigger than the Explosion arches Mark mentioned. :)
  11. Cheers for that Mark, appreciated mate. Just wanted to see how big my custom arches are compared to them! :)
  12. If that's ok, would appreciate it just to double check :) If it's easier, maybe take the measurement from the trailing point of the rear quarter window to the outer edge of the arch? Cheers, Leigh.
  13. As above, could someone let me know how far these come out from the body of the car? Cheers, Leigh.
  14. Sadly, due to the nice people at the hospital wanting to play knifey-knifey with me again, I'm having to drop out :( Sorry guys :(
  15. It's not really mean't to be taken as a serious attempt at modification though, is it? It's more in the vein of the "art car" http://www.artcars.com/
  16. Cheers Yampie (fiver is in the post :D) I've got no clips myself but think JD has one on his phone...if he has I'll ask him to post it up.
  17. Yes...mine! ;) but seriously, take a gander at the complete system I'm selling in the For Sale section: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=93379 Cheers, Leigh.
  18. Spot on mate. Not to mention subsequent clearance issues: the other Z32 in the States that's done the conversion stayed wet sump and he now has half of the engine sticking out of the bonnet! :wack: Dave, it's 9.5x16", the largest Pace do off the shelf, which holds 10 litres in the tank itself. Going for a slightly smaller one myself as the LWB, although bigger, is suprisingly more difficult to get one in!
  19. Negates oil surge. Particularly useful on the track where this will be going. Tank is easily located in the boot.
  20. I have a custom made single exit system, for a LWB TT,that's about to go on sale (haven't had chance to take some photos yet). It's the one Leon at Alunox (top quality exhaust/manifold fabricator who deals with lots of race teams) used as the base for his single exit systems (had by John Dixon etc etc on here) as it was so incredibly well designed and put together and had an unbelievable exhaust note! Mail me at friday76@lycos.com if you're interested. Leigh
  21. A peth-e-theth, e-theth-e-theth, e-theth-e-theth-a Or alternatively, try this with the waiter to get the very best food and service: a ti no te parieron, te cagaron or, when wooing under a kissing moon with the sound of the maracas snapping gently in your ear, spoken tenderly: Pinche Baboso... The effect, I take pains to assure you, will be astounding...:D ;)
  22. I get Channels 1-5 through the4 Sky Box!
  23. Well, took myself off into Comet this afternoon to have a look of them in the flesh, so to speak. Usually avoid the place as I prefer to get a better deal over t'interweb...did see the Huma but decided against it as I don't need the Freeview...however...they had an ex-display DVDR3380/05 with in built 160Gb Hard Drive with all the bells and whistles for £160. I got chatting to the sales guy and he also threw in £40's worth of DVDR's and leads to connect it to my computer. Result! :D Cheers for the help guys! Leigh.
  24. Cheers Nick! Now that price ain't too bad. :)
  25. How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking Vijay? :) Sounds pretty darn good to me! Cheers for the input so far guys :)
