  1. Didn't expect that Nick! Not toooo sure about them if I'm honest but maybe when you take some better snaps it'll all pull together. As long as you're chuffed then that's all that matters mate :)
  2. If this gets off the ground then I would be interested in some items. Namely functional front and rear diffusers plus full under body diffusers and adjustable rear wings. At the moment I'm designing all of these as "best guess" items for my V8 project car. I wish you luck with it. :)
  3. Bodywork Plus. Might be a bit of a journey for you (it's just off the M5 near J2) but if you're having a full respray Steve and his team are some of the best in the UK. His number is in the traders section on here. Tell him Leigh sent you.
  4. Cheers! :) Took my SLR with me as I thought the snow might make for some good shots.
  5. The snow brought on a heart stopping moment (almost literally) for us earlier. Took our 1 and a bit year old Dalmatian pup for a walk in the fields near us. On are way back, decided to head through the local woods. There's a pond there that had iced over and was covered by a thin layer of snow...you can see where this is going...before we can stop her she runs off out over the pond (usually stays well clear). She makes it half way before falling through the ice. Luckily, instinct kicked in and she doggy paddled, smashing the ice out of her way (she's no scrawny thing!), to the side in about 5 seconds...about the time it took for us to run to the edge, ready to help her up the bank! Home quick, a hot bath and aside from a few cuts from the ice (we're hoping it's just the ice) she's right as rain thankfully! Daft mutt! :)
  6. You realise I'll now be having take-away Chinese tomorrow night because of this conversation! Right, I'm off to hit myself over the head with a rolling pin...g'night! :D
  7. LOL! You complete b@stard. I'm now, sleepless AND hungry!
  8. Chicken Satay and Egg Fried rice for me please Nick if you're phoning up (might need to vacate this thread soon! :o ;) )
  9. LMAO@the last one! If I "disturbed" her when she's sleeping I'd be wearring them as earrings!  ;)
  10. Don't ask mate! Going through another of my insomnia periods...ended up with 20 mins sleep last night and about to get the bloody rubber mallet out if tonight looks like it's going to follow suit! LOL@sledge and "Hippydom art school"...but no-one understands the tortured mind-set us (p1ss) artists suffer from! ;) I am going to make a snow-man. :wack:
  11. Speaking of stuff from Japan...Mark, still haven't heard back from Takehito Re: Toyota...will chase him! Or did you go with Miguel after all? ;)
  12. Let me know what you want as I have a friend over there that runs a tuning shop. Can't promise anything but it could be worth asking ;)
  13. Would be interested to have some info on them mate, cheers :) Do you also have any photos of them either on their own or in situ in your MR2? Would be great to see some if you do :D
  14. Look in my Journal as this is something I did myself ;) :) It's a fairly easy job to DIY an OEM bumper to suit a single exit (same applies to other aftermarket jobbies, CJ's is a really good example). If you don't fancy tackling it yourself most bodyshops will be up to the task :) Stay single exit! :D
  15. So...I'm guessing you never saw her up close then... :x:
  16. God this is starting to sound like I disagree with you out of hand but....what a load of rubbish. Soooo wrong  (IMHO lol! ;)). It's horses for courses at the end of the day but having heard lots of different configurations I'd never go back to a twin pipe set up on a VG (if I still had a VG that is... :wack: :D ;) ). The exhaust note from a well made single exit is phenomenal and really suits the car.
  17. If we can get some more info/photos I'm provisionally interested Nick! :D Do you want me to email them or will you mate?
  18. Click on them...they're video files! ;)
  19. I have a friend in Saitama who runs a car tuning/import/export company over there and he sponsors a driver in various drifting championships. He's trying to get the Japanese D1 series to recognise 4WD cars and Takehito and the driver are hoping to come over to the UK sometime to show off his skills (if someone can supply a car!). Drivers name is Ohosato (nickname "Gengoro"), and I've just been sent over some footage of him drifting at an Advan meeting at Tukuba circuit, so thought I'd share :)
  20. Lol! Yeah, I do mate, just pulling your leg ;) Though...it could still be a cunning diversionary tactic and is in fact the calm before the storm so to speak...:D ;)
  21. *collapses in shock* ... ... ... ... Can someone get me a cup of sweet tea and a hot towel? :p :D ;) I know mate, no worries, didn't take it like that. But I'd be disappointed if you didn't find at least something you didn't like about it (at least I know you're going to really hate the rear lights! :D ;)) Still keeping fingers (and toes!) crossed for this summer! Dave: haven't looked at those photo's of Eliza for ages. Forgot how nice the colour was!
  22. I am preparing a selection of fine toothed combs, for it's eventual debut, just for you as we speak mate  :p ;)
  23. Then they should have gone to a bodywork guy who knows what he's doing in the first place. Too many people try to do things on the cheap and it bites them on the ass under closer inspection. Get it done and get it done well ;)
