  1. [O-Ren Ishii] Silly Donkey [/O-Ren Ishii] :wack:
  2. That, is the shizzle ma nizzle. Um. :wack:
  3. Not sure I'd agree old chap. With short lived, but acute diarrhoea you lose a lot of water and electolytes very quickly which can result in de-hydration. All Imodium (generically known as loperamide) does is reduce the muscular contractions of the intestine (known as peristalsis) which move food and faecal matter through the gut and allows the above essentials to be reabsorbed from the gut contents back into the body (which results in firmer and stools that are passed less frequently). I agree that the body initially uses it as defence mechanism to eject the "bad" stuff, but you would've got rid of it all pretty quickly and then your left with ongoing peristalsis which, if left unchecked, can prove fairly problematic. Understatement! ;) Having Crohn's I unfortunately no these things inside and out...the bummer is Loperimide doesn't work for me. Arse. Literally. :wack:
  4. Sorry, yes. To clarify....it's only a problem if it's been cooked and left, or re-heated.
  5. Apparently there are two versions of the toxin, an emetic and a diarrhoeal (though you can get both!). The Emetic type apparently loves starchy foods so that definately includes pasta... :( As Mr. David says, there's been a bloody awful gastric flu going round though for quite a while. Glad I haven't had it so far (fingers crossed)...with my existing Crohn's disease I'd probably turn red and explode... :wack: ;)
  6. Sorry to hear that Nick :( Until recently I always thought it was probably caused by under-cooked or "bad" meat, however apparently it's more likely to be the rice! To quote from the U.K. F.S.A: Uncooked rice can contain spores of Bacillus cereus, bacteria that can cause food poisoning. When the rice is cooked, the spores can survive. Then, if the rice is left standing at room temperature, the spores will germinate into bacteria. These bacteria will multiply and may produce toxins (poisons) that cause vomiting or diarrhoea. Reheating the rice won't get rid of these toxins. Bizarre but true. This information won't prevent you up-chucking but at least you'll be cursing the right food group when you're driving the porcelain bus... :wack: ;)
  7. This one? (apologies for the small pic size :( Could never find any larger examples)
  8. Wish I'd been well enough to come with you today bud to see The Guvnor and the engine in the flesh. Looks fantastic mate...it's all coming together at last! :D
  9. That plenum looks familiar ;) Ciaran: sorry I didn't reply to your PM. I've been ill the past 2 weeks and not been on top of things...totally forgot you PM'd TBH! :o Everyone's just about covered it already. You'll definately need patience and I wouldn't become too attached to the skin on your knuckles...Good luck with it :)
  10. There is even a 4wd competitior in the Japanese D1 series. I should know, my good friend over there is the team's sponsor! Check him out, the drivers name is Ohosato (nickname "Gengoro"), even got some footage of him drifting at an Advan meeting at Tukuba circuit...impressive stuff!
  11. Now write it out a hundred times and if it's not done by sunrise I'll cut your balls off.
  12. Lol! :D ;) I know, I know, I was just trying to find a workable context to demonstrate the usage! (why did that sentence remind me of the line "Come and see the violence inherant in the system! Help, help! I'm being opppressed!"...? I'm on some fairly major painkillers at the moment so probably best to ignore anything I say/write/burble incoherently)
  13. Good point, well made. Told you I was sh1t. Now, back to nork-gazing on the little scrubber on the other page. ;)
  14. Maybe in this context: Jack and Jill were incarcerated in the Dungeon of Doom for many weeks. Their's was a tricky situation to say the least. But then again I was always sh1t at this sort of thing. ... ... ... Why am I talking about apostrophe placement when there is a girl with her chesticles hanging out, mere inches above me...!? lol ;) Sorry folks, back on topic... Nice car, seen it before but very questionable website. What were they thinking? ;)
  15. True to a point mate. Not sure I'd want to rush things too quickly though if it were me as you want it done right. There's always another J.A.E. :) Mind you I seem to be taking the softly softly catchee monkey approach to the extreme at the moment so might be best to ignore whatever I say, lol! :D ;)
  16. Sweet Jesus and All the Little Orphans. A Pulsar vent? ... Ironing board spoiler? ... Rear light slats? ... I could go on but I fear I may have a funny turn... :wack: :wack: :wack:
  17. Meh. Nothing a bit of chicken wire, polystyrene, wood, clay, filler or metal (or a combination :D) wouldn't put right to form the plug for the shape on the sides that stands out. Whack over your 'glass to get your mould, prep it, take one from it, bond it to the bumper, smooth it in and bobs your mothers brother. If you say it quickly it doesn't sound much... ;) You want all that done for JAE Nick? Brave man! :D
  18. Very, very true. Don't understand why those that like it haven't gone down this route already TBH? It's something a half decent bodyshop or a competant DIY-er could do themselves :)
  19. The final sketch is now on canvas so I can take a photo sometime and send it over (it's based on one of their press photos).
  20. Would you prefer an oil painting of a Z32? I'm a trained fine artist (BA,MA)...feel free to insert the word p1ss at your leisure...with 15 years experience under my belt and although I often now work in abstracts I'm also well versed in other areas (portraiture, landscape etc etc). I'm currently taking on new commissions for 2007 and would be happy to submit samples from my portfolio and discuss the space you have to work with. Or, if you're not looking for something bespoke, I'm currently making a piece on canvas of the Stillen Z32 track car. Aside from the sale of the original canvas this will also be eventually for sale in a limited edition print (no time scale for the completion of this though as it's purely something I enjoy doing between jobs). Just a thought. :) Leigh.
  21. Definately what I'd go for. In fact I did ;)
  22. Apparently, if you know where to look, Absinthe (made with wormwood) is still available in Spain and reportedly in Denmark, Andorra, and Portugal as well...anyone off on their hols and fancy chancing it with customs? :D

Lovely example. I believe it was Miguels own car? No?
  24. Lol! "We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!" It's very difficult to aquire a bottle of good (ie with Wormwood et al) absinth. However, help is at hand. There's a little shop in Berlin that specialises: http://www.absinth-depot.de/
