Domain names. Advice on who to use!
Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated! I spent a couple of hours last night looking into domain name providers and different hosting options and, regarding the former, after reading several good comments on their level of customer service and competitive pricing, I went with 123-reg. To my pleasant suprise, after I had decided to go with them I also found that if you bought a .com for 2 years you got a .co.uk thrown in for free, so I'm now the proud owner of http://www.kyotounderground.com and www.kyotounderground.co.uk! Just got to figure out how the hell to get a website together now! Lol! :wack: :D (mind you, I've recently started playing with Gif animation for my MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/kyotounderground Hopefully I'll be able to use them in the website somewhere when I've tidied them up a bit....the banner in particular needs re-doing in hi-res! :) ) Leigh

Not to my knowledge. but there are several people on here who have put in Yank V8's or as myself and Mr Dixon are doing, 4.5l Nissan V8's.

Little Red Maybe Dead
Gutted for you Mark. Just really, really glad you walked away from it unscathed matey. You're one of the good'uns on here and, aside from the good engine work you had done on your blue Z, you've had a proper run of bad luck with cars these past few years bud! Fingers crossed it's all on the up and up from now on! :) Leigh

FAO Bianic!
Hi mate, got your parcel all wrapped and ready to go in the post today and realised I've accidentally deleted your email with the address of the mechanic you want it sent to! I am an idiot. :slap: myself. If you get chance to PM/email it to me again that would be greaat and I'll get it off A.S.A.P. bud! All the best, Leigh.

Domain names. Advice on who to use!
I want to register a domain name for my bands website. Any one have any advice as to who's best to go through (as it's a bit complex to go through nominet directly!) or are they much of a muchness? Cheers, Leigh.

Transformers
Yup. Was pretty darn impressed with it. Have to admit, I was disappointed that the other Autobots/Decepticons ie Jazz, Ironhide, Ratchet, Blackout, Barricade, Starscream etc weren't given more screen time, they kind of appeared then buggered off fairly quickly, and that the Autobot voices were sphincter clenchingly cheesy...BUT...this didn't detract from what was an excellent action film. I was so worried it was going to suck and it really, really didn't. Like you say Vini, the effects were absolutely astounding. They all looked so believably "real"! On a side note, the "trailer with no name" that showed at the beginning looks like it could be pretty interesting. Apparently it's been dubbed "Cloverfield" just so people have something to call it! The trailer ends with “Produced by J.J. Abrams” and the release date “1.18.08″. J.J.Abrams is the guy who does "Lost"! According to insiders, it's a giant monster movie, reffered to at the moment as "The Parasite"....could be interesting!

Felt I had to post once again. The support and positive feedback I've had from you guys in the club both on here and through the My Space page has really blown me away. Seriously folks, you don't know how much of a boost it is (particularly to someone like me who doubts himself and his abilities every single minute of every single day) to get such great messages of encouragement. To hear people say how much they like my stuff has truly got me. I don't expect everyone to like it or support what I'm doing, and that's cool, but guys (and gals!), thanks so much. It means a helluva lot. At this rate you'll be getting name checked on the album! :D ;) Also just had some very exciting news. My producer is sponsoring a Battle of the Bands competiton in Wolverhampton on August 10th. Although I'm not eligible to play since I'm working with him and he's on the judging panel, I'll be there in his "entourage" and he's made the organisers agree to my tunes being played throughout the night and I'm to be name checked at every opportunity by the announcer (he wants people to hear my stuff so it promotes him as well...everyone's a winner ;)). This becomes more important when you know that there are 3 A&R scouts DEFINATELY coming to the gig to sign up new talent...and one of them is from the States! Every bodily extremity is going to well and truly crossed that night! Leigh.

One for Saz
Crikey guys, c'mon. Takemetothepub is right. (Tru 'dat ;)). Devvo is a fiction. A satire. A humorous machina. Or to put it bluntly: he ain't real, aiiiight!? I've been a fan of David Firth for a while now (join the Salad Fingers Army... :wack: ) and while the character may seem real (God help the human race), he really, really, really isn't. ;)

Thanks guys, great to hear some feedback on the tune-age. :) Yup, that's me on vocals, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass, synths and drums...though not all at the same time I hasten to add...(write the theme toon, sing the theme toon...:wack: ). I'm currently auditioning musicians for the remaining open spots in the live band, so once the album is finished we'll be out touring the fleapits and alt/indie circuit around the UK. I'll post up the venues when they're confirmed...would be good to see guys from here coming along! :) (think we may have already got something interesting lined up through Banned-TV productions in Birmingham and Krash magazine in Wolverhampton...fingers crossed!).

Myspace music page: advice please!
I think I'm going mad. Just spent half an hour getting a whole fistful of code together with the help of Realeditor. Unfortunately their option to save directly to your Myspace page is playing up so need to copy the code in by hand. However...with a Myspace music page there's no "About Me" section to paste it to. There are lots of sections to put different details in but I've tried pasting the code into each one with no joy. Can anyone help a Luddite out and point me in the right direction? Failing that, an online editor that will update my site with the code automatically? Cheers, Leigh
