  1. Hey Chris, any more thoughts on Hellgate after you tested it? I've been following it's progress since you last mentioned it and I'm now thinking of signing up for the Beta release as, on the surface, it looks quite good (mind you, I've never played an online game before so my experience and judgement is a bit limited! ;)) http://www.hellgatelondon.com/ (for those that like to be nosey like me ;))
  2. And you can also buy extra long studs from Nismo. I know, I have some ;)
  3. Had a break from it as been in and out of hospital like a yo-yo but just starting to get back into it now thankfully. TBH....yeah, what was I thinking last night?? Lol! :D ;) But in all seriousness, although the chappy above didn't mention my original offer, if they used to make them for £100 it sheds a different light on it, I wouldn't make them for that sort of money anyway...way too much hassle ;)
  4. If you can get me some better photos of it I could probably make you one in fibreglass if I have the time?
  5. Hi Chris, sorry for the delayed reply I've been away for a couple of days...definately interested. PM on it's way in a mo :) Cheers, Leigh
  6. Sorry for the delayed reply Tony, been away for a couple of days! Will get them to have a look at the photos and see if they want to take a look in person! Cheers mate :)
  7. Cheers both, it would be great to have their respective details if that's ok. It might not come to anything as the old coffers aren't exactly full to brimming but it doesn't hurt to enquire! Thanks :)
  8. Nick was going to do it but unfortunately he had a few personal issues to take care of. Totally understand why he couldn't though. Tim: sounds interesting effendi! If she has a change of heart let me know :) Zogg: will PM Dave, cheers :)
  9. Words can't express how much I like the look of this film. :D
  10. I have to admit that Parental Unit No.1 does have a major thing for BMW's and if she could find a good one it would probably be her first choice. She's from the generation that still thinks of Diesels as always being slow and a pig to drive so I'm pretty sure wild horses wouldn't get her to buy one no matter how good it actually was! However, aside from that, they're going into buying another car with an open mind and would definately consider another make...and the Volvo certainly looks good from the reviews I've just read. Don't know enough about the Audi as yet to comment unfortunately (she'd definately like the Merc but might be put off by how expensive it could be if it went t1ts up...:D)
  11. My folks currently own an old 1998 BMW E39 5 series but unfortunately the auto box has just died. The price they've been quoted to repair it is astronomical so they're thinking it's time to get a replacement. They don't want to spend a huge amount (6K tops), so they need something second hand, with four doors, a large(ish) boot, with as many interior comforts and mod-cons as possible BUT also with a bit of poke and as swish looking as the budget will allow (my mom has hankered after something sporty or a convertible for a while). What would people recommend they look at? Cheers, Leigh.
  12. Put me down for two...and throw in the optional sugar lump turbo-charger... http://www.fleethorse.com/ Best. Website. Ever.
  13. Things are starting to happen with my band a bit quicker than anticipated ( http://www.myspace.com/kyotounderground ) and I'm in urgent need of a web designer to build a website to showcase the growing list of songs, say a bit about our ideology and generally entice people with a feast for the eyes and ears. Ideally, something slick, professional, subversive, creative, compulsive Seriously though, if there's anyone on here that can help it would be very much appreciated as I've been tearing my hair out trying to do it myself. I've got the ideas and the software but unfortunately I'm sorely lacking both time and technical ability I'm an artist and photographer by profession and competant with photoshop CS3 so I can supply static images and even animated gifs without any problem if that's a help regarding the look of each page etc? Thanks in advance, Leigh.
  14. Has anyone had any problems with their "Books"? The only reason I ask is I've read a lot of reviews that said the unit experienced some fairly major problems after a few months of use. :(
  15. Thinking about buying a portable desktop hard drive and was wondering if people had any recommendations? Not sure if they're all more or less on a par? I'm currently in a position where I need to back up the entire contents of my computer so the drive needs to be 300Gb minimum. A good friend of mine could do this for me but I've recently thought that I could use the flexibility of being able to transport very large Cubase compositions backwards and forwards between my humble home studio set-up and the proper recording studio. So, what would people recommend and where would be best to go looking for them? Looking to buy as soon as possible...er...if possible! :)
  16. Big thanks to the guys that replied :) Still trying to get it sorted, hopefully on the right track now
  17. Having a few problems with Cubase SX3 at the moment after re-installation....there's a slim possibility it might be the software itself...if anyone has a copy, could they PM me as I have a favour to ask ;) Cheers, Leigh
  18. I am currently mid beard cycle...every 2 weeks, wet shave within an inch of my life, then grow out. Bearing in mind I have the hair growing ability of Homer Simpson on anabolic steroids, this is my "half way house" slightly-super-furry-look. Promo-shoot-tastic.
  19. 1973 XB GT Ford Falcon Coupe. I've always loved the Mad Max "Interceptor". Have a look here: http://www.madmaxmovies.com/cars/interceptor/history1.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mad_Max
  20. Best of luck with it chap, hope you get them. Those coupled with the PCD adapter should sort out your alloy needs a treat :)
  21. Are they on Ebay at the moment as I think I've seen them (ex Ferrari demo car?)? Kahn's or Kahn replica's maybe? A nice alloy mate, a bit chunky in the spokes for me but that's only a small thing. Although I've gone BBS-esque multispoke this time I always like a good 5 spoke alloy. Good choice :)
  22. Also nice. I'd wager they'd fare better than most other alloys under the British weather. If they're kept well and looked after they should last and last. Plus Image have developed their own ceramic coating to prevent corrosion. Was speaking to them about it when I was last over. The testing phase has gone well and it's now being offered to customers. I'm having it myself :)
  23. Billet 47, 102 and 103 in their catalogue are stunning in the "metal". Very modern, incredibly well built with the best materials (no shonky, cheap Chinese alloy which seems to be seeping into wheel manufacturing these days :( ), ultra light weight and can be made to look even wider than they actually are by recessing the hubs...12" width wheels can look 13-14" wide. But hey, each to their own :) Post a pic if you have one, would be good to see them :)
