  1. Cheers Mark, t'is appreciated! Might be in need of a few things but thankfully, at the moment, it's no biggie getting her back on the road, just a question of buying the parts. Bought it with a misfire the previous owner had trouble diagnosing. Turns out one of the injectors is fecked (along with the O2 sensors) but at least it's nothing major. All being well she should be back on the road (and wearing a nice set of super-lightweight 18" Volks boots!) very soon. Mmmmm...Cheddar. I also have an overwhelming urge to squeeze into small holes and run up ladies skirts....so no change there then... By the way, I hope this tea isn't Fair Trade. If I can't taste the tears of 13 year old workers I'm just not interested.......I'll be honest....that one could go either way... :x:
  2. Well b0ll0x to you all and b0llo0x to the government. I'm here to moan! I've just been injected with modified mouse protein (which manages to sound both weird and rude all at the same time), my only means of transport until the NA Z is fixed has just broken down 5 minutes from home (total power failure in the Beemer: bye bye steering, which was fun) and I'm now permanently skint due to my upcoming life sentence...er...I mean, wedding! Tea. A cowful of milk and enough sugar to make Dentists weep please. And strangely, some cheese would be kinda nice... :wack: :D
  3. Oh yes it did! (one post too late...damn :p )
  4. This is also a pretty good, and unusual vid: an Ozzie Z32 taking part in a Hill climb event at "Darling Scarp". Very good quality, in-cockpit view of proceedings (just discovered I can still post Image tags! Could've sworn I tried before in my unsubscribed status and it didn't work... ) I've also got a few other Z32 track vids (mainly from the States) which I'll have to dig out :)
  5. A-ha! Just found them...forgot that I'd posted them in another thread! http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=76231
  6. I've got two other videos of the team racing at Destai (don't know why I didn't post them originally!) that my friend in Japan sent over. Trouble is, I can't post them anymore as I'm no longer Subscribed! :D I haven't spoken to him about it for a while tbh (he's more involved in sponsoring a 4x4 drift car...don't ask! :D). I'll find out how the team's doing when I'm next in contact :)
  7. Lol! Ahhh, there's nothing like the classics... You took your sweet time getting that up Pete! :p :D ;)
  8. Currently looking for a back-up gigging guitar to go with my SG Special. One of the guitarists I use in This Burning Age has a friend (and ex-band mate) who is into collecting slightly strange custom guitars (he's a major PRS head as well and has just started making guitars himself). He's just offered me a custom built Ridho Hafiedz "Demon" from Marlique Guitars (part of the older Signature series range I think?) http://www.marliqueguitars.com These are hand built in Indonesia, which sounded a bit weird at first but apparently the quality is excellent and the sound is less PRS and more Les Paul (although I've yet to play it). Does anyone know 'owt about them or have any experience with them? Think he's only asking a couple of hundred for it so it could be a bit of a bargain :)
  9. Thanks again Si, much clearer now. Type III, no contest. Trouble is, I've just shown it to my other half who I bought the car for (great Christmas gift...she gets a car, and I get the "thanks" and the lionshare of the driving :D ;) ) and although 99.9% of the time she bows to my better judgement on car matters, she's now decided she prefers the 99 spec front end. Aaaargh! Bloody women!! I am a little vexed to say the least.
  10. Yup, it's a tricky one. Thanks Si. Those are the ones I've been looking at so far. On the Type III ones the front on shot and the blurred motion image makes it a little bit difficult to really assess what it's like though. The high reflectivity of the black car also means the shape and detail is a bit camoflaged. If anyone has any others knocking about it would be appreciated :) The Type III appears to have more of a lower splitter than I'd first imagined when looking at the small image on the Concept Z Performance page a few months ago which is a plus, but I do like the very pronounced splitter on the GTZ...hmmmm...
  11. I'm about to place a fairly large order with Cos in the States, and amongst other things I'm buying 2 Stillen Front Lips, one for JD's V8 and one for my new NA which, aside from this and a set of Volks Racing 18" wheels I've just bought, I'm going to be returning to it's former OEM glory days. John's definately going for the Type III extension (always been a fan of the Type III stuff myself, even had the sideskirts until someone unceremoniously ripped them off  :( ) and up till today I was as well, however, after reading the polyurethane bumper thread (and the bumper options thread prior to that), I'm beginning to wonder about the GTZ lip. So...does anyone have any more photos of both the Type III and the GTZ so I can try and make up my mind!? Cheers, Leigh.
  12. Wish I was more clued up on them myself. I have one on my MySpaz page www.myspace.com/thisburningage but that's about it until the band websh1te is up and running.
  13. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=104225 ;)
  14. For those still interested, there's a new track now on-line. It's an unfinished early studio cut of album track "Panic (Bring on the Bomb)". Vocals need attention and there's a bit of tidying up to take care of but she's nearly there. See what you think.
  15. Congratulations Dave, that's great news! :D :D :D
  16. If I manage to make music even half as good as Senor Reznor then I'll die happy...which may be a little disconcerting for the vicar but FVck him. ;) mrsoup: really, really encouraging to hear that people would actually pay their hard earned for my music. It's stuff like this that makes it worth keeping going. I'm in the studio again tomorrow (er...today now I guess) and I'm hoping to have another track finished enough to go online so....watch this space....and btw, if you like the sound, spread the word...the more people that hear it the better :)
  17. Dam'd Varis Kaze Aerocraft (the original that was around before the "Blade" or "Demon" copies) Abflug 300ZG Abflug Aero Tuning Evolution Type II Evolution Signature Kaminari Bumper Lip Do-Luck T1 Do Luck T33 I have many, many others in the Bodykit database that I've amassed over the years. Some are rarities, or limited editions, others are one off custom jobs but as I'm about to nip out for a drink I don't have time to sort through them and post up the ones you can buy "off the shelf". I'll stick up a few more when I get chance. I also have each kits corresponding sideskirts, rear bumpers and rear bumper skirts where applicable.
  18. Yep, either way is viable with this dash. TBH Chris, it's probably going to be light as a feather when it's finished as the final mould will hopefully be one piece of ABS plastic rather than FG... By combining ABS with a suitable solvent (methylethylketone for preference, although Acetone is easier to get hold of) you get a substance that is can be brush applied or poured, that sets as one piece. The finished dash will essentially look like an OEM fixture. All I'm lacking is a supplier of cheap ABS off-cuts or, even better, ABS pellets or left over shavings. If anyone has any ideas on where to source them I'd be grateful (I'm going to phone round plastics firms in the New Year to see if they have any I can scrounge ;))
  19. The big question with it is whether it acts as a skin, sitting over the stock dash or as a complete replacement. At the moment it's the former but a little bit of fiddling could make it the latter. I quite like the idea of being able to fit it with the original in situ though. It would only be a small matter of adding piping to extend the blowers for example.
  20. Lol! Trust you Chris! Er...how do I put this? Um...no. Bugger. Bit of a case of too much going on all at the same time. Between health, music, V8's and unfinished bodykits it's been temporarily shelved as the above four are the priority. The fibreglass dash is still intact though and still fits like a glove (maybe fitting like a dash should be more what I'm aiming for...? ;)) and there's even an in-car computer ready and waiting to go with it....but alas, at the moment at any rate, the project is becalmed. I should add though, that I do now have the schematics for a DIY flocking machine which is my material of choice to finish it. Sadly, I have the electrical knowledge of a small marmoset and am hoping that one day Senor Dixon may have time to put the bits I'm amassing for it's construction together...Unfortunately, I'm one of these annoying people that like's to have A LOT going on all at the same time as my attention span is a bit the mad professor side of hyperactive. ;)
  21. Did someone mention my name? :p Seem to remember the one on your arm Diane but I don't think I had the pleasure of seeing any others that were more...er...hidden. :D :p ;) For some reason, although I love tatts and piercings, and find a woman with her tongue pierced incredibly sexy, the thought of having mine done has always turned me off the idea. There's just something about a man having their tongue pierced that doesn't compute with me. Sorry chap! But who gives a flying fVck what anyone else thinks, right, as long as you're happy with it, right? :)
  22. Lol! Nice one fella. Great to hear the two of you like the tracks! :) If you've got a MySpace account, join up if you can, as around the time of the album release there's going to be a special offer available to all those signed up as "friends"... ;)
  23. Cheers guys :) Tommy 21: sorry chap, I've been asked not to make them download-able. MySpaz MP3's always suffer from poor sound quality (they're only 192kbps) so it would be better waiting for the Album release anyway...;)
  24. "I'm a cat who laughs a lot". I think.
  25. Cheers mate :) About a year ago I thought "fVck it", it's now or never so I've just gone for it. It may go well or it might come to nothing. But it's been a whole bag of fun up to this point so I'm going to keep on and see where it leads. ;)
