ebay fees
not noticed this recently they sneaked this one under the door anyone know when this was changed? All public sellers auction final value selling fee's have gone up to 10% from about 5% upto a capped maximum charge of £40 so if you sell an item for £400 you get charged an insertion fee £1.30 + 10% fvf £40 + paypal deductions(applied to postage charges too) 3.4% + £0.20 GBP leaving you with.........................f#ck all cnuts so if it's £20 postage figures will be: £400 -£40 -£1.30 - £14.48 leaving you with £344.22 .........nice

yeah will look at it tommorrow in the light of day. I have an escort at moment and have had 3 of them. this one was £225 and I spent about £500 mechanically running it for 3 years last one was £200 and lpg did get a recon box on that one though for £250 fitted so I like my bargain sh!t cars and know how to make 'em last lol I do about 20k a year in my dd too

buying a new vectra daily driver few concerns
have a chance of an 01 vectra for £350(don't know if this is cheap but have a feeling it is) 4 months mot no tax. He's got receipts for a new head gasket as he said cam belt snapped. I 'm no mechanic but would not have thought these to be related at all. Do head gaskets just "go " or is there usually and underlying factor like cracked or warped heads that I should look out for as I've seen some cars heads ali weld repaired that have gone again soon after. any thoughts. If it's cheap at that price and it does give up would a recon engine still make it a good buy ? cheers for any help ta

Round 'em up, put em in a field
was just thinking the same before I read your post. A tent would go up quite well too and the melting nylon would drip on them

Few parts spotted on ebay
You may be thinking of the nismo rad caps they vent at a higher pressure. Don't think the oil cap could create more pressure as far as I know the stock one is a tight seal without venting anyhoo's as the pcv's would set the pressure unless I'm barking up the wrong tree

today's skids
some cnut in an oncoming car decided to do a u turn in the middle of the road unanounced in front of me then imediately turn right with one flash of his indicators notice causing me to stand the f#ck on my brakes in the escort, cover most of cwmbran in tyre smoke and wake them at 7am to the sound of screaming tyres with a few choice words hurled out the window at the driver who seemed oblivious to what he had done :xxx: about 15metres of rubber laid down on the tarmac and a few hundread miles of wear the pr!ck

rip-off on printer & ink
take the lexmark by the scruff of its neck, lob it out the window then go and buy an epson. I have an r220 photo and it's awsome. 7 carts (2x black and 5 colours) are less than a tenner. I had an olivetti with my first computer , cart was gonna cost me £35 about 12 years ago so it went in the admag that same day it ran out of ink and have only bought epson since. Cannon are cheapish to run too i understand
