  1. i have tried indiglo dials, very good illumination and look good but when they fail, oohhhh its bad, had my jap clocks with the limiter, nice but they are black?!?!? i now have AUS facias in white that read in KPH but have the full deflection of 180, so adjusted my tensiometers and now read correct to my satnav and with brov on his ZXR750 riding alond side at 30, 70, and yes!!! 165!!! and i kept with him. al. got the dials from ebay, good q. and fast delivery.
  2. as above, only trust mec's that work on 300's, or u could get a big bill for nothing gained. ask here on the forum for a local garage that has a good knowledge on a zed. al

  17. hi zero had similar prob with my 300. i have a HKS induction intake kit and the foam filter was old and breaking up and sticking to maf sensor, thus cutting the engine as no signal for air was being sent to the ecu. HTH alan
  18. hi barry ok, i have a new lap top and have not downloaded the software for my camera, so cannot take a pic, sorry. if you have looked at the "z centre" batt clamp and you like it, i can make 1 for you. but it will be brushed aluminium not chrome. also am very busy with my work load, so it might take a week or 2 to manufacture. or , give me a few days to load my software and will take a pic and show you, either way i am happy to do this for you. cheers mate alan
  19. hi barry mine uses the long threaded bolts with either nuts or wing nuts, whatever you have. its an aluminium "Z" with 2 holes in that pick up the long threaded bolts. i will try and take a pic 2morrow so u can c what it looks like. cheers bud alan or look at the battery clamp on the "z centre" and mine is the same, but not chrome.
  20. sorry apache, dont know how to "cut and paste", the wife and i will be there, maybe the kids too!! alan.
  21. i will be up for a meet, am on suffolk, norfolk border. car should be up and running, maybe a little or alot of the dredded blue smoke pumping out the back, but will still come. alan.
  22. hi sonic if you get no joy getting a batt clamp, i can make you one in the shape of "Z" from brushed aluminium. but that is only the top part, no rods, tray,or bolts. HTH alan.
  23. am glad to help out a fellow zedder:hyper::hyper::smash::smash: dont forget cotm:rolleyes::cool: alan
  24. hi funky not had this on mine, but had the same noise when i put the clutch down. took it to jeff at "zedworld" and it was the clutch booster leaking. could be the same but on the brakes for you, the brake booster is like a servo to assist the clutch movement, brake servo to assist the brakes. maybe this is the problem. HTH alan
  25. hi mate 2 ways to change an injector, no.1 pull the upper plenum, and all the ancillaries, nightmare:rant::eek: then easy to change the faulty injector. no.2 use the dremel method, blend out a little of the upper plenum, enough to get a screwdriver in and remove the faulty injector, a bit dangerous but a quick job:):) both methods are on here, do a search and u will find both. HTH alan.
