Nearly burnt down the In-laws house!!!!
You put fillet steak under the grill to cook, sacrilege  always pan fry or griddle if you can get one, like a George Foreman, under a grill will dry most meat out as the juices disappear into the bottom of the grill pan instead of staying in the meat. Anyway cookery lesson over and know exactly how you feel lol, i was cooking pancakes yesterday and even with the door and window open set off the fire alarms:biggrin:

What do you mean by a fitting kit? Shoes, handle, adjusters, hydraulic?

where abouts is the the dash lights tcu located?????
The lights on alarm or bong box is on the left side of the dash clock on a bracket at the rear, if you take off the top dash cover you will be able to see it.

where abouts is the the dash lights tcu located?????
Its behind the kickpanel in the drivers footwell to the right of the fuse board, so you need to remove the whole panel to access it, its an apaque little box nearer the door

Rear fog leds
Zedwizz wasnt a trader here and did indeed design the boards for the fogs, reverse and rear lights, seemed to have disappeared unfortunately but took the time to compete with clearcorners and did a better job IMO

Auto Gearbox problems
If im reading this right, you have an N/A right? I dont have half those light symbols on my NA dash surround, obviously wouldnt have the hicas lol, but im sure the middle top should be AT. Have you changed the dash or surround at some point? I will have a look at my UK spec auto tomorrow to see what the symbols are and see if i can shed any light on the situation. As far as the dash itself i think the top one is a later series dash. You may have an issue with the auto ecu, or TPS out of range as far as the gears not selecting above 2 or you have some wiring in the wrong plugs, ie when you switch overdrive or hold there should be a light each on the dash surround but lighting up in the wrong place on the surround.

Tropical fish
Wow some great pics Ian:thumbup: I would have preferred to have gone scuba diving instead of snorkeling but my other half was too scared, i told her it would be safer than snorkeling in deep water and she soon started to panic and had to be led back to the boat holding onto a life ring lol, i have to admit after swallowing a bit of the red sea i started to struggle to breath properly, hard to relax when you are starting to panic lol.

Tropical fish
Now your talking, i love that

Tropical fish
Getting the water temp and de chlorination was my first priority, i spent hours rinsing the gravel and ornaments etc and the water is now crystal clear and the first 2 fish seem quite happy and relaxed, so must have done something right lol, although getting water tested in 10 days to make sure the environment is correct before adding more. Ive been told conflicting stories from different pet stores regarding the cleaning schedules, some say you dont need to go over board and its a money making exercise with all the cycling and chemicals, and the other says adding a couple of fish first will start the culture bacteria cycle naturally, still researching though.

Tropical fish
I think after a couple of years experience i would like a huge tank that fills one alcove in my front room and get some larger fish, but as a starter im more than happy

Tropical fish
So you have quite a few fish in one tank, what capacity is yours? Sounds like alot of what we will end up with from what ive read and seen so far.

Tropical fish
I like that idea and quite exotic too, once ive become more knowledgeable, its something i may look at later.

Tropical fish
Well after snorkeling in the red sea last week, the missus decided she would like some tropical fish and the boys would love them too, her idea was to get some Nemo type fish because we had seen them in the sea lol, but i told her keeping salt water tropical fish is alot more involved than freshwater tropical fish. While we were away she wasted the wifi on trawling facebay for a tank and before we got home we had bought one and was being delivered the day after we got back. So we got as a starter set up a Marina 60 tank on a stand and after a few days of water treatment and running the pump/filter it was ready for some fish  To start we got a couple of little sword type fish ( not into the technical names yet lol ) and the boys love em and i have to say i cant wait to add more, its going to be a nice from watching the dog lick its arse:biggrin: Im starting off with some hardy fish until we get the water tested in 10 days to make sure the environment is right, then going to be adding some molly's and plecs etc. I know we have some members into fishing and a few keep fish, so wandering what youve got and any pics. This is the tank, will take some pics in situe once my camera is charged

Trial by media !!
The reason they are named, is too see who else might step forward with an allegation, i personally think that as the law states "innocent until proven guilty" that names should be kept out of the media to protect not only the accused but the family and close friends surrounding them. At the end of the day alot of people suffer over a case like this, not just the poor guy being accused. If found guilty then obviously you pay the price and your world will fall apart. I still cannot fathom that such cases, which happened 30-40 years ago can end up in court today with what amounts to hearsay for evidence, the cps dont normally prosecute unless they have a 99% chance of getting a conviction and even then i think many chance their arm and twist words and talk in clever legal jargon to push their point. I have no doubt that many of the accused in the papers today may or may have not done something at the time, but there is no substantial evidence and my concern about todays justice system is that if enough people come forward to accuse you and they all sing from the same hymn sheet, then how can you defend yourself against that? In the case of Saville, when the story came to light in the media, the nation was shocked, unfortunately and i think this applies to many people now, that the more you hear or read in the papers about these cases, the less shocked and dare i say, bothered by it, therefore making people more blase, oh theres another one....... which is wrong imo, its had the opposite effect of the original intent. It does seem a witch hunt to try and prove to the public that something is being done about it, no doubt this sort of behaviour has been going on for decades/centuries, its only now in this day and age that everything is put under the spotlight.

Auto Gearbox problems
I dismantle dash's but have little to do with the surround lol, but from memory-ish you have Washer fluid level light, O/D, AT, CC... If you shine a torch at the symbols look at an angle and you should be able to see what each symbol states, sorry cant be more specific.

Headlight got a mind of its own.
Not had a chance to check yet, but carpets are dry, but when my targas leak water inevitably travels down the inside of the A pillar cover and will work its way to the fuse board, im going to have to get to the relay board as im sure there will be corrosion there.

Headlight got a mind of its own.
Hi guys, having just returned from a much needed holiday, i got to my car after being stood at Gatwick long stay for a week and battery was dead :whistling: i couldnt believe it, i have an uprated amp battery and never lets me down, luckily one of the car park bods was cruising around in his little van and he had a starter pack to help me out, started first time and started my journey home. Didnt think too much more about what the cause might be, obviously something caused the drain, but at 2am not in the mood to think too much  Got to the ferry turned everything off and then noticed after a few minutes the drivers main beam come on by itself, followed by the dipped beam, again only the drivers side :scared: turned the light switch on, then off seemed fine, then it did it again, i noticed it didnt do it with the sidelights on, only when the light switch was off, so i think i found the reason for the dead battery, must be a short from water ingress and as it never happened before didnt think twice when i left her in the car park. So now to the task of finding the source of the culprit  Anyone else had a similar experience?
