  1. Veilside body kit not to everyone's taste, but looks like it needs very little body wise, seat is a common problem with most low sports cars and speedo probably has a mph convertor which is a common issue, but other speedo fixes available here. Quite cheap for a TT you need to ask what is wrong with it for that price, check the sills if possible behind the skirts and have a look under neath, check for any engine noise or rattles, smoke from the exhaust. If all looks good then you might get a bargain with very little to spend.
  2. Dont forget the window adjustment, if its not sitting tight against the rubber when closed, its likely water will find its way in and appear to be targa leaking, always seems to be the same place on mine, where the a pillar trim meets the targa at the top, water will seep down the inside of the trim and end up behind the fuse board causing all sorts of electrical issues, still need to adjust the windows on mine.
  3. No worries mate, your not the first and no doubt not the last  You can buy and post, but cant swap or sell until subscribed, worth it in the long run if youre planning on sticking around

  10. I dont know lol, if it went past £15k i would sell it and give Lee the amount he was going to pay as a sweetener, everybody happy
  11. You can adjust the boot lock catch, take off plastic cover to reveal 3 10mm bolts, loosen slightly and push down and re tighten, you should here a click when the lever is pulled.
  12. You wouldnt sell yours Andy, like me love the zeds too much, i plan to restore the black one to as near stock as possible apart from wheels and interior and have the yellow/white primer as my modded toy
  13. There are some unscrupulous people around on ebay now, i rarely buy or sell anything on there anymore and i hate paypal too lol I much prefer Amazon these days, although not for zeds lol, i still look everyday and some of the same old shite comes up under the 300zx heading, very rarely anything worth buying.

  15. Cheeky barsteward, im talking about my Black UK TT i bought recently
  16. I didnt know you were that desperate for a zed mate, you could have had my TT for £15k :lol:
  17. The advert on ebay has nothing to do with Jaikai and as sated its down to the seller on ebay to withdraw the auction. The rights or wrongs of how people sell on ebay is down to ebay.
  18. Tesco do super unleaded and there is a texaco that does it, but ive used normal many times in my N/A and not noticed much difference between the two if im honest, im going to put in some super in the morning and see if it clears the issue. The strange thing was the car was running fine until that top up and within the time it took me to leave he forecourt it was running bad.
  19. Just unleaded mate, i thought about super unleaded, but didnt think and already started, luckily i only put in £20 so that will be gone in no time and will fill up with super or go somewhere else to see if it cures it before i start any stripping down lol It does feel like before when i had an injector go bad.
  20. Ah Jason, nice guy and good of him to help out
  21. In running like a bag of shite part one, a faulty injector and corroded connectors were the culprit and sorted... Well if having issues with the electrics isnt bad enough with this weather, with the headlight issue still not resolved, when driving today all was fine until after a filling up at Tesco my car started running rough and lots of smoke out the left bank exhaust, i have a straight through mongoose system so is it still likely the left bank of the engine? I know the intake works opposite sides. Checked all the connectors, gave them a wiggle, but nothing changed, im hoping i havent got another injector gone bad. Bad smell of fuel, which makes me think injector, unburnt fuel causing the smoke or overfuelling. No obvious fuel leaks from the usual spots. Need a couple of dry days to strip the plenum and pull all the injectors for clean and check, but..... im wondering if bad fuel might be the culprit:thumbdown:
  22. eimantas issued a permanent ban, he was LTfans21 a previously banned member

  25. They are about mate, i was lucky enough to pick up a UK TT albeit auto for very little and will require a fair bit of work, but while im driving my N/A about i can take my time in doing her up
