  1. Doesnt have to be high temp sealant, i used http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Loctite-Quick-Gasket-NEW-5980-All-Purpose-Flange-Sealant-/261069311104?_trksid=p2054897.l4275 and never had a problem
  2. I will vouch for them too i have a pair on the rear of my zed but they werent that cheap lol look good and feel very planted and after having been through Pirelli Pzero, Bridgstone potenza and Nexen ( i still have on the front) they are great value for money.
  3. We're no strangers to zeds, you know how to fix em and so do i, i say......:lol: ill get me coat
  4. Me too lol i stopped paying for crappy sky years ago a total waste of money :thumbup1:
  5. Well done mate, i pulled my engine and box together and if i were to do it again i would do the same, so much easier and as i mentioned with the box away from the car it slid straight on first time. Glad you got it sorted
  6. If all aligned it should slide straight in as long as the box is level, try rotating the spline slightly it sounds like you have a slight misalignment of the spline. I did mine out of the car luckily and it slotted straight in first time, i know its lot harder on your back under the car, if you have another pair of hands wrap some rope around the rear of the box and thread it up through the tunnel so that some of the weight can be taken off of you slightly.
  7. I live on the isle of wight lol, would cost you more to get down and come over on the ferry than it would for me to do the lot
  8. Hi Danny you would need to send me the bits to convert ie pods dash etc and i post back, probably best when you dont need the car for a week or doing some work on it. You can mail me on the above and let me know what you want, colour and time frame. Cheers
  9. All the best Al, hope youve had a great day of it

  13. After having members go walkies without providing parts or refunds, we feel that to gain more seller/buyer info this is the way to go. The old system relies heavily on trust and why not, we are all here for the same aim, but there are a select few who have abused it and a new system was called for by the members. Similar to when we switched over to the new forum, there were alot of people who didnt like it, but now its second nature and we have all got used to it, hopefully the same will happen with the classified section.
  14. It was chewing gum, i thought it would have lasted longer to be fair
  15. Yes cheers mate, i havent got one yet, but needed to know the size :thumbup1: My old bodge job has blown out and smells bad when flooring it  so time to do it properly
  16. Happy Birthday Joel

  18. I searched for ages last night looking for the info on the egr manifold bung and knew you posted the dimension but cant seem to find it, probably in a post not started by you lol
  19. Hi mate, the clock is an lcd same as the aircon display and although you can place a filter in front of them you cant do anything much with an led behind it, to alter the colour, but the rest of the dash and interior is fine to convert. Door sills are like rocking horse poo lol, i did have a pair but sold them recently, but you can convert the black oem sill plates to light up, check out some threads on illuminated sills for the idea. Rear Oem lights can be done, check out threads from phutumsch, If you need any advice or info groover@300zx.co.uk or subscribe and PM  Cheers Graham
  20. As its a smallish part, might be worth buying a flocking kit and doing it yourself http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Grass-Carpet-Applicator-Machine-Flocking-for-Plantings-Railway-Landscape-Model-/350756333219?pt=UK_Trains_Railway_Models&hash=item51aab4e6a3
  21. We did have a member ady682 who did flocking, but seemed to have disappeared a year or so ago http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?147738-FLOCKING-interior-trim-parts&highlight=flocking
  22. Each switch type has a different board and moulding, so not possible to have the combination of the two, has been asked in the past and i even looked at the pair together taken apart, i would buy seperate switches for he heated seats and mount them in the centre console near the centre arm rest. You can have a look yourself to see what i mean by prising the lugs from the housing to expose the rear of the board.
  23. Doubtful that you will get a fog switch in the position of the cc blank as on the board behind it has a different switching mechanism and if yours is blank may be a different board altogether. The front fogs work off the small 1 pin plug on the rear of the pod, so you can either route a ground for the rear fog to there or to the fog light relay. So you are switching the ground/earth and not the live feed, so you will need your live feed from the relay or any constant live to power it up.
