pinche mierda water in car on passenger side!!
Check the rubber washers on the wind deflector screws, if they have rotted away you may get some water in there, also check the windscreen rubber along the top, all it takes is a little split between the rubber and the body.

You say the drain pipes are clear, but check to see if water comes out the bottom of the sill when you pour water down the hole, otherwise it looks to me like your targa drain pipe has come off the bottom of the sill pipe or split. You wouldnt get water sitting in the well like that from a hole in the floor.

Ripped off by europcar
Thats a rip off mate i hire vans all the time now ive stopped leasing and the excess on any of them is £400, but i check with a fine tooth comb with the guy checking it before i leave with it, but in fairness even their brand new vans have branch scratches down the side and odd marks on most panels lol, its wear and tear of a commercial vehicle.

Newbie Saying Hi
Welcome to the club and sorry to hear about your previous experience with said so called specialist, with many other stories about the guy in the past im surprised he got away with it for so long. You wont go wrong with Jimmer he will sort it for you and the Nissan garages make me laugh, imported or not the UK version is the 300zx and the same car mechanically, as Richard stated none of them around now have been trained to work on one lol

What I like about this Club!
I dont think you can call that a bad experience of the club, rather one individual who probably isnt in the club spirit, which is a great shame that you had that experience, hopefully someone else can cancel the bad karma :thumbup1:

Hard water pipe help.
I would put a slither of sealant on the flange, the last thing you want is to put it all back together and find it leaking.

Front seat
Are you hearing a click or whirring noise when you flick the switch on the seat? if you have power, try some switch cleaner in the switch housing, ie take off the plastic cover and squirt inside the switch rock backwards and forwards, up and down and see if that works, my passenger leccy seats often need a squirt if they dont get used much.

Looking at buying a 300zx - What about this one...
You are looking for smooth gear changes on the autobox and being able to drive in every gear, often an autobox can appear sluggish or not changing at the correct rev points, however if the TPS (throttle body sensor) is incorrectly set, this will affect the gear change points, more so than a manual. There is a diagnostic for the autobox, which can be done when viewing to see if there are ay fault codes, again in the tech faq section. Turbos are a little harder to determine the condition of with a quick viewing, but with the engine up to temp on a test drive, look for any smoke in the rear view mirror with the foot down slightly, look for any obvious signs of oil leakage around the turbo area. Another good read in the faq section with points to look for when buying a zed http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm

Veilside body kit not to everyone's taste, but looks like it needs very little body wise, seat is a common problem with most low sports cars and speedo probably has a mph convertor which is a common issue, but other speedo fixes available here. Quite cheap for a TT you need to ask what is wrong with it for that price, check the sills if possible behind the skirts and have a look under neath, check for any engine noise or rattles, smoke from the exhaust. If all looks good then you might get a bargain with very little to spend.
