  1.:lol: i see a personalized disc, where people can put in what ever they want, so still might be some use for them Gary:thumbup:
  2. He hung on as long as he could bless him, was one of the few people in the world who deserves a sainthood. RIP
  3. If its been sat in the garage for so long, check all your connector for corrosion, likely an injector connector or the 2 spades on the injector itself.
  4. I fixed and drove an NA Gto and it was a walloping piece of shite, they look ok and some can look really ok, but thats about it
  5. Hi Gordy, it has been said many times that what an owner wants to do to their cars is their choice and if its not everyones cup of tea then tough :thumbup1:, however, regardless of the link posted yesterday, if a zed, is way out there to the norm then i would expect comments, good or bad, after all you have modified your car how you like it and you want to be noticed, so dont take it too much to heart. It was unfortunate that the posts linked to Barry boys already slated your car and like many who jump on the bandwagon also like to comment, but obviously many people were not aware that you are a member here. Although not my cup of tea, it does stand out, so continue to enjoy and post up some pics and your ideas behind the scheme
  6. Could be a short or something simple like, no bulb holder in the low level light hole and the light from the dash is shining through it, or someone has wired some tails to it connected to the illumination by mistake.
  7. Welcome to the club
  8. Happy Birthday Gary, hope you are having a great time in the sun
  9. It is, as the compressed air travels through the tubes of the intercooler, the outside air cools it by passing through the fins
  10. It literally cools the air, which passes through it
  11. Easy to access, literally pull the map light trim, its on clips and the little black fan unit is obvious :thumbup1:
  12. Welcome to the club Ben, it seems you have started to enjoy the beginning of zed ownership, look forward to seeing your progress
  13. As above, sounds like a vac/boost leak, maf would limit to 2.5k if dead
  14. In Merseyside? good luck :lol:
  15. Great job and look forward to some more updates. Im wondering that instead of a small sealed pod, you might get more bass response by opening up the back into the door to allow more air travel, would be good to do a comparison for sound :thumbup1:
  16. I was thinking more of a bin full of food for each dog lol, great looking dogs though Neill
  17. Made no difference to mine, as said above, its not a modification, just a gearbox change that would have been available from the factory. And as far as notifying DVLA, i notified them of a change of colour on the car when i moved house and it still hasnt been changed on the logbook, so obviously dont give a damn.
  18. Sorry to hear that John, hope your health improves to he point that one day you may get another zed
  19. Happy Birthday Mark, have a great day
  20. I new it wouldnt take long till you got the bug back, welcome back
  21. I find it best to use a large flat blade screwdriver to prize the connector off, the spring will open as it lifts, but watch for the little bugger pinging off.
  22.:lol: yes i agree, the doors have a thud now when shut instead of a hollow can, im not convinced yet that sound deadening everything like me and vijay have done is any more efficient than specific panels or areas akin to how it was done in the factory, but once you get started its hard to stop
  23. Fuel pump relay or fuse, probably nothing serious, but waiting for the recovery is always the worst part about breaking down, not only are you stressed by the fact the car wont start, but have to wait in the freezing cold to be picked up. Hope they manage to sort it for you mate :thumbup1:
  24. Happy Birthday mate, have a great day
