On some boards there is no captive nut to accommodate the screw but it is doable by changing it from the other hole. I have never done it personally, but by changing the resistor on the board i dont see why it wouldnt work as a convertor would.

The convertor basically has a resistor inside the changes the signal speed, so the higher rating the resistor the slower it would be, iirc the UK speedo has a 100k resistor at R10 on the speedo board itself, not the film on the back of the cluster.

I think the size of the smd is a bit of a misnomer, they are all as bright as each other, its the spread that changes, but what the eye perceives also differs, so smaller isnt necessarily, not as bright :thumbup1:

I guess it depends on what power you are after, but a dual would intake more air than a large single

You can run a dual with one maf or you can go down the selin stand alone route with no maf, best speaking to Noz about this one, he will be able to direct you to the best solution

Or the little rod from the barrel to the mechanism is off the plastic clip :thumbup1:

So you have Hid in the main and in the dip?

Have you cleaned the projector lens inside and out? you will notice a big difference with the grime removed, which is why the main beam seems brighter as there is only the glass of the casing in the way.

I had a go and it took some getting used to and i would recommend an open space to try it out for the first time, it ended up over a neighbours fence the first time and nearly on the roof of a house, till i got used to the controls. Tried filming a few runs and came out really good quality, but have since deleted them off the card, so maybe next time. I got the pathfinder v1 and eats the battery time to about 15 mins, may have to get a larger battery lol

Got the pics today, so thought i would post up, its in a bit of a sorry state and the guy likes the fact that it looks, in his words "shit" :thumbdown: Anyway engine is sweet as a nut so im going to have the engine for my yellow zed, a few bits for spares for the Uk zed and strip and sell the rest, will definitely not be keeping it to do up, so will post up some parts sales threads in the New year. Currently sorn and MOT'd till Oct 2015
