  1. Thats Andy Isherwood's, he spent a long time on it. Im still half way through polishing mine, still finding little bits that need rubbing down. It is a pain lol, but will be worth it in the end.
  2. Try checking this fuse ASCD cancel
  3. Hi Daz, as said the loom is on top of the plenum from factory, which is a pain if you need to get the plenum off again in the future for any reason. After having the plenum polished, hiding them looks so much neater and no problems reported so far from peeps that have done it. HTH
  4. place them under the plenum, much neater
  5. Thermosatat: the flatter section should be facing you There are no locating bits for it to sit in a particular rotation. You could use a little sealer smeared on the rim edge to hold it in place, while you place the pipe back over. Plenum: i used a can of degreaser stuff which foams up, when sprayed. Spray in lots, leave for a bit and hose out with water, then i used a hairdryer to help dry the inside, and leave to dry fully for a few days. Might be other techniques, but that seemed to do the trick.
  6. 1/8 BSP thread. The NPT will go in and seem like it tightens but will strip the thread.
  7. I wouldnt expect anythng less:bow::bow:
  8. Cruise control release switch!
  9. If you have a multimeter, there should be a constant feed to the seat plug. Undo the plug under the seat, using the probes on the meter, test the plug from under the carpet for voltage.
  10. There is a circuit breaker on the panel behind the fue board in the footwell, you will need to take the plastic shroud/panel off to access it http://www.300zx.co.uk/cgi-bin/manual.cgi?list=bf&dir=&config=&refresh=&direction=forward&scale=0&cycle=off&slide=35&design=default&total=46
  11. Congratulations Andy to you both, a nice way to start a new year.
  12. Have you checked to see if your windows work
  13. As above really, tighten all the clips on the fuel lines, mine were all loose to some extent and the worst as Chris mentioned, under the fuel dampner, i noticed it drip on the flat part of the rocker cover when cold, was fine when warm, but as the smell got worse on cold starts, i found that one to be the culprit
  14. The HID's are 35w or 55w and is basically a 2 spade connection. Mine passed the MOT with HID's as many members here have, so that wont be an issue. I agree though, sort out the wiring mess first, it isnt that complicated a system, so shouldnt give you much grief lol
  15. The high beams are H1 on an adaptor.
  16. :happybday: Have a great day :happybday:
  17. Glad you had a good time and made it safely, looks an awsome atmosphere.
  18. Why pay £20 for normal bulbs, i would go for HID any time for £30
  19. With the temp changes and being off the road a while, all sorts of zed gremlins about lol. I would hazard a fair bet on fuel, if youre not smelling any. Check the fuel pump fuse under the bonnet near the brake MS and most importantly, check you have fuel in the tank lol
  20. I bet you are lol, great pics by the way, makes the effort worth while and your not that far from finishing now. Keep up the hard work, its going to be a monster when its done.
  21. Makes no difference mate, its on the front left of the timing belt housing, just by the water pipes
  22. It shows updated once you click on the opening page, but not in the heading on the forum. To be honest as you add posts to the thread, it will show in the main forum, under new posts.
  23. Not sure if "you" can, but try thread tools on your thread and edit. If you cant access it let me know and i will do it for you.
  24. All smooth, JamieTT de suaged his zed and looks spot on.
  25. Thats definitely an all or nothing scenario lol. Congrats on getting married and new baby and job :thumbup1:
