  1. I took the Mrs to see it. It's really spectacular. It'll take your breath away. If you've not been to a big West End show, you'll really be surprised. Highly recommended even if it's not cheap.
  2. I drove a TT then bought an NA. It's not the fastest thing in the world but I like it. And I wouldn't say the straight line performance is distinctly average.
  3. :duffer: enjoy what's left of the day (the best bit!)
  4. Cable Guy was good too - rather dark. I have to say I like his gurning though - The Mask and Dumb & Dumber were funny.
  5. A bit steep - I bet parts have perished even though the mileage is low. Have to say it's nice though. But not £10K nice.
  6. Mine uses the four inner brake/tail light bulbs as fog lights - they're not tail or brake any more though. Never had a problem with the MoT.
  7. lol You Haterz!
  8. LOL Shiver one out in the plane toilet perhaps?
  9. True but they're getting more extreme weather too. Probably! Just gone nuts here again - thunder, lightning etc again.
  10. That sounds like a top few days. I'm jealous! Enjoy it.
  11. Joe vs the Volcanoe :x:
  12. Withnail & I Swingers Excalibur Chinese Ghost Story Caddyshack II
  13. The thunder really shook the house here last night. It was pretty cool. I fear it's a knock on effect of climate change - we'll see more and more extreme weather events in the years ahead.
  14. But the 3.0 V6 one does look nice and they're getting cheaper these days. Would you have one?
  15. lol - just a quote from that TV show.... but I'll warm up the pipe just in case.
  16. Get some Tesco Economy cooking oil in it. Slow won't seem so bad when fuel is 35p a litre.
  17. LOL How about 'there go me trousers' in a Rodney Bewes voice?
  18. Or "Was your dad a meat thief? Because it's like he took two fine hams and put them down the back of your dress." Kind of a play on the stars thing.....
  19. I think we'd have to go for LWB TT targa just as there's more of them. The club might recoup the money or even make some at, say, £500 a 'loan'. It might not and it might make a loss - but from what I heard (and it could be wrong) the club can easily afford that. It would be a positive, forward thinking move. Otherwise where will the club be in a few years as more and more cars get broken / scrapped? Oh, and I'd really like a 99 twin turbo!
  20. Don't go getting a crow bar and arming yourself. Chances are if they're criminals they're harder than you and it's not worth the aggro. Something not dissimilar happened to me years ago. The police caught them and one of them got 16 years! I'd speak to the police.
  21. ;) ah yes, the old 'bad back, can't work' one. Nudge, nudge ;) Seriously, Diclofenac / Voltarol was the way forward when mine was bad.
