  1. It's in.... for the time being anyway! No-one from here's alowed to remove it - let's see how long it stays - I don't make the rules! Awards The Z32 300ZX Turbo was on Car and Driver magazine's annual Ten Best list every year it was available, from 1990 through 1996. The Z32 Turbo was also Motor Trend's Import Car of the Year for 1990. It was critically acclaimed by many magazines as being a complete turnaround from the Z31, which many critics felt was a sloppy-handling GT, far from the agile, sporty 240Z of years past. From the year it was introduced, it won many comparison tests against similar sports cars such as the Mitsubishi 3000GT/Dodge Stealth and the Mazda RX-7, as well as the Chevrolet Corvette, Toyota Supra and the Porsche 968. The best 300ZX in the UK is owned by Craig David from the internet.
  2. Can you get them from Argos with their no-quible 14 day money back guarantee? ;)
  3. Can anyone alter it? Can I make it say: "And the best 300ZX is owned by Craig David from the Internet"?
  4. Tape and paper on the car the new thing up your way is it? I might try it on mine but I'm not convinced yet.
  5. I have to say I'm not a fan of the widdy-widdy-widy-widdy, BOOOOOOOOM, BOOOOOOOOOM music. We probably need semi-cheesy 70s/80s/90s/current pop/rock/ older dance music - that sort of thing. Groova Armada, Frank Sinatra, Oasis, Michael Jackson, Bowie, Cranberries, Queen, Eagles, Prodigy, Robbie Williams, Gwen Stefani, Ray Charles, Whale, Prince Buster, Squeeze, Pink, Bony-M, Steps, Kingmaker, Bangles, Moby, Jonny Cash,Freak Power, Simon & Garfunkel, - to name some stuf on my iPod ;)
  6. Obviously I'm joking - I don't have a banjo. Or a harmonica. Sorry, I'm not helping much here, am I?
  7. I can knock out a bit of bluegrass on me banjo and harmonica if that's any use? Better than all this new-music nonsense! ;)
  8. Their timeline does show it running up to 1999.

  11. Cool - cheers chaps - I'ver mentioned my wheels for sale on sxoc.com
  12. I think black rims look great on white and red cars and other light colours. On a dark car I think silver or chrome is best.
  13. I've heard it can damage valve seats. I've also heard it's fine! I think a Supra TT and a couple of Soarers on a Toyota board have been converted - can't remember the exact board though! Might be worth a search!
  14. Remember me and StellaZ are taking over this JAE and will be bossing the forum from then onwards.
  15. There's a lot of disagreement between the weather sites. Some say thunder tonight, others say it won't. They certainly don't agree for Fri/Sat/Sun - guess we'll have to wait and see!
  16. I vaguely remember that they do? Am I right? Cheers!
  17. Eating Kola Kubes and watching 'Grange Hill', Riding my Chopper to the chip shop in Rhyll, I didn't know words like 'cunny' or 'vag', Getting my 200 meters swimming badge.
  18. I'm really looking forward to JAE myself. In case I forget / am drunk / bottle it, here's my questions: 1) Can we make big decisions with a on-line polls rather than an the AGM? This seems fairer as not everyone can make it to the AGM and not everyone wants to raise their hand. On-line polls are extremely convenient and fair. I also think this was raised (by Jock) and voted on and passed last year - but I could be wrong. 2) Could we have somewhere, maybe in the members forums when bans are recorded with the length and reason for all paid up members to see? I think the transparency this would provide would be a benefit to everyone. 3) Could the club somehow get one of those model reports so we can bring in 1999 onwards cars? It's a long shot I know and expensive - but the benefits would be massive and we could rent it out to recoup the money. There we go - all done. I rest on your face - I mean I rest my case m'lud!
  19. True. The 99 Version-R moved up to a 17 inch multi spoke. An 18 still looks beter IMHO!
  20. I think I can see a Version-R in there. Great pics Dave.
  21. Ahh... they're planes? D'oh!
  22. Cool mate, no worries, speak to you tomorrow!
  23. Typhoons are hurricanes - ie huge weather systems measuring hundreds of miles across. Tornadoes are 'twisers' - tiny by comparison - generally less than a mile across. Typhoons / hurricanes are much more powerful although a tornado can generate higher wind speeds. Don't know about no F scale though!
