How crap the lights are The honk The grin Hadn't grinned like this since I finished running my Daytona in and went to silverstone

Insurance - Keith Michaels
I tried Flux out of courtesy for them being a listed trader, and found the same problem with out of touch prices. FJ gave me a reasonable price first time, closer to what i was expecting, and a third of the Flux quote.

The end of an era ...
And the start of a new era for me, the return to Z-dom, with a nicely and subtly modified car, thanks Andy. :yinyang: Only been 11 years and 3 months since I sold the last one... :wheelchair: See someone or something you recognise Gary? :cool3: With the palaver we had its lucky to be on there at all, so once it was on, it was staying. Had to make some trailer modifications on the fly to get it on :smash:

Spotted a celebrity in my home town pub !
Rory McCann, haha, nice one. I bumped into Tyrion a few years ago in a New York Thai restaurant, before GoT kicked off.

Which motorbike?
I would absolutely 100% recommend taking a triumph street triple 675 out on a test ride. It will suit your needs, no problem. As long as you can find one in your budget, you won't be disappointed. I have had mine 3 years, was my first bike, and still think it is an awesome machine after 38k miles, 24k of those last year. I have also got a Daytona 675 and a Thunderbird Storm, to suit different occasions, but without a doubt, I love the Street. I use it every day to commute on the M11, 160 miles a day, and it takes motorway, twisties, traffic, everything in its stride. Light, responsive, great handling, comfortable riding positon, and 105hp. Triple engine is perfect balance between low down grunt and great engine braking of a twin, with smooth roll on power of the inline 4.

Nice find. I notice my join date is way later than the post lol. Never bothered querying the date though. Was on the previous forums for a while before that too. I searched earlier for my posts and found my zed sale post :-( I also found one of the first proper serious banned member threads, for Porker, but then also found the threads with seeds of the club being formed :-) I am sure there a few nuggets buried in those forums somewhere, lol.

I just realised the really really old archived forums have disappeared now, else we might have been able to dig some up from the end of the '90s lol

TV aerial alternatives
he is probably talking about a dreambox setup, with software based cam cards, and internet based 'shared' sky decryption. they can be used with multiple parallel lnb's on same dish or control a motorised dish. how many other european languages does your dad speak though....? because he will need them.. lol

Ive softend and relented
dont try and set up the parental controls and online stuff straight away, else you will be stuck for ages sorting it out. just let her play and do that another time

Evening Y'all
Hi Kim, Glad to see you my friend. Hope to bump into you on the Saturday as well then!

wireless router
sorry del, got a bit carried away, lol

drop curb
you also want to make sure you keep any letter from the council authorising you to get it dropped, as you will probably need that if you want to sell the house, depending on how thorough the solicitor is for your buyer....

wireless router
stick a static ip on the second router from the same network as the sky one (so you can still manage it), then disable wireless on the sky one. that way you can use any router, cable or adsl, as you wont need the wan port. disable dhcp on the second router, and plug the lans together. might need a crossover cable, but most routers do auto crossover anyway. wireless from the second router and dhcp from the sky one will work fine. done it plenty of times when working with faulty routers, or creating 'guest' wireless. as Steams says though, try setting another channel manually, as lots of devices interfere with the frequency, even some tv/av wireless senders. if another router is using same channel, then you will join your network, but all your traffic goes to the stronger source, so you dont actually get anywhere

Kim is stepping down
