  1. elements of lots of nice cars in there, but still distinct enough, very good.
  2. i think this might be the standard uk yellow, there were only a couple around that i remember, a member called jez from high wycombe had one. although i did think it was slightly darker but that might be 15 year old memory at fault? none of the pearl effect ones were uk colours, iirc? found this on ebay, but it has the blue missing for uk spec, and shows the yellow a bit darker http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-300ZX-rare-UK-market-Colour-Guide-card-leaflet-brochure-c1986-/230745318582
  3. i think the combination of raised spoiler and boot lid spoiler, along with the lower diffuser/spoiler makes it look very busy, and very old school. removing one or the other boot spoilers would de-clutter the look quite a bit.
  4. the pink ones an opel rekord olympia or p1, inspired by the bel air. havent seen one of them for ages, had a few opels in my early years.
  5. thats quite a serious first shakedown run :-)
  6. oh no Lee. what a nightmare. other than that noise query, it sounded like it ran fine, not smoking or anything? what are they saying?
  7. nicely done Lee. fancy a go at mine now? :-)
  8. saw Lees car yesterday. looking and sounding awesome. final push of the last few man hours, and you can change your username to chesire cat for the rest of the year, as thats what you will look like :-) the sacrifices look well and truly worth it
  9. best wishes Andy

  12. We might not arrive until Saturday morning, will we still find a spot to pitch a tent? Either that, or arrive and try to do that at 11pm Friday, lol. My sons birthday, so still negotiating what he wants to do....
  13. Motorcycle chain cleaner and tooth brush, or the oven cleaner method, for the least amount of elbow grease required I think.
  14. You could always go old school (and cheap, lol) and just get some shims made up to go on the mountings. I am sure that's what I did on my first zed when adjustable components were not so readily available...
  15. I plan on riding up on Sunday after my bike weekend. Will you be there most of the day Sunday Gary?
  16. Had the drivers side rear sill repaired in plenty of time for next mot, where passenger side was done last time.
  17. we had a few of those back in the early days, at Streatham a couple of times, and next to City Airport (no longer there), and possibly buckmore although not 100% sure. would be good to have another, agreed! :)
  18. looking great. its amazing how much difference a dent free door makes to how you see your car. i remember seeing the black roof panels being done on some zeds over 15 years ago now, and i am still amazed at the difference it makes to the look, especially lighter coloured cars.
  19. wow, just wow, old school donut king is still around :-)
  20. Nice one Lee, congrats, and to Lexx, as I think I might have missed your thread
  21. my join date doesnt exactly reflect correctly either ;-)
  22. wahay. nice one Dave. hope you are well my friend. long time no see
