  1. i used a tailgate/bumper mounted bike rack on my previous one, when i took the kids on holiday with their bikes. was completely stable and survived many motorway miles without incident. not sure i have any pictures of it though
  2. Haha, that my friend, will have to remain a surprise  Thanks Andrew, not too worried about those particular extras though
  3. Wow, some original roof racks would be an awesome accessory! Ash, is that something you could lookup for me?

  5. welcome James. you mean, other than the left hand drive Ali ? i think the euro spec has the same front end features... ;-)
  6. haha, this reminds me of Keyser Söze in The Usual Suspects , where the cop realises he has created the story from things around him after letting him go... its an XL version of the Z, hence an XLZ its a 300, and number 5 from the exclusive Nismo Tein program, hence its 3005 XLZ 3005, it must be true, as the reg plate that has been put on AFTER all that happened, just coincides and backs up his story
  7. good priority call Rich, health before anything. take care and stay in our family :)
  8. blimey, you've gone through a lot of bikes in that time, lol. i got my first bike in 2011, StreetR, put 85k miles on it commuting all year round. now refreshed and blinged for the wife who passed this year. have a 13 DaytonaR that is used for track, and racing next year. now use a 06 Sprint for commuting. had a dabble with a Thunderbird Storm for a year, but didnt use it much. as you can see, all Triumph, lol. will probably be looking at a Pani 1299 next year for some summer fun, now that i get my proper adrenalin fixes on the track rather than the road, it means i enjoy road riding for what it is :)
  9. they are great little cars. i think there was one featured on chasing classic cars previously.
  10. +10% buyers premium (+20% vat on that) + entry fees so would be in it for around £5k
  11. welcome Tom, another Cambs owner here.
  12. i have contacted them already to obtain details as a possible AGM venue, one of a few possibilities for this year ;-)
  13. Was great to meet up, and the food was almost worth the journey ;-) Leafy, muddy, gravelly, flooded unlit lanes made it all the more interesting
  14. it looks like me, Nikk and Ayrton can make it down for this, if there is space at the table? 2x roast beef, 1x roast chicken
  15. that looks like it could be a nice venue for an AGM and annual meet and still fairly centrally located, nice find. although if the prices are a little out of our reach, it is definitely worth some enquiries for a standard meet instead.
  16. club member democracy in action. had to work out and agree the ideal layout, based in the attached plans. couldnt do a full club vote due to time, so we went with the people present :-)
  17. thread for uploading the NEC show pics. didnt get many during setup, but heres my opening shots
  18. they wont be charging today. was that just the sign? i am in e1 now, drove straight in, e1d on the right as you come in. i have your display car passes have messaged you my number
  19. stuck in traffic and only been in the car 15 miles :-(
  20. when we meet up at 10, look out for either my blue zed, or a black touareg, as i am not sure which i am taking yet.
  21. good news. i will message you some details a bit later.
  22. As long as its clean and tidy, thats the important bit. :-) all the bits that dont normally get cleaned are spic and span, that would definitely have been my challenge  It does mean we end up with 1 of each model on the stand if you can make it. If you are able to make it Thursday morning and stay for the weekend, then it would be great if you can do that. If not, then don't make any special journey etc, i will use mine, or see if we have another offer, or just go with 3 cars and have the extra stand space. No problem. If you confirm, then i will send you some details on what you need to bring, where to meet up, etc.
  23. never nice to see anything like that. such a shame, but glad of no injuries. dont make any snap decisions
