  4. i might not be able to get a picture in time for the closing date, but in a similar position to Stephen, would replace the silicone ones that are already installed. also, don't have a sob story, but could start a similar thread with the ones i replace once swapped, which are perfectly fine. a bit of charity regurgitation  aka hand me downs
  5. this is on the same day as the classic meet at heritage motor museum in gaydon that we have also got booked on for. shame for the clash, but good to have a few options depending on where you are in the country. its good that people are taking to time to organise space for their club
  6. Exactly! Glad to see you got through it, and best of luck with the recovery. Looking forward to bumping into you again this year!
  7. i think we will have a good selection to review at Coventry this year. will start asking for people to register their interest in the NEC show so we can vote the shortlist as a club
  8. They only look ok if pointing the right way, IMO, like the first pic of Ali's, otherwise, as Andrew says, the wheel police will have to make an arrest, as the wrong way looks horrid.
  9. haha, we've got one of those zeds in the family, a 2 door red one. k reg on about 70k miles, but unfortunately looks like 700k miles. lol
  10. it only takes 2 or more members to attend to start an organised meet between you ;-)
  11. he turned up at the pub meet we had at the end of the year down near andrewg, which you were at ali ;-)
  12. or use a household steam cleaner instead of a commercial one, which may take a bit longer, but you probably only need it to remove the stuff that TFR or similar (M/cycle brake/chain cleaner is good) doesn't get off first?
  13. Any colour, condition not too important as long as it is all intact in 1 piece Edit: nothing happened to mine, just looking at a project
  14. sorry to hear that Ash, hard to know what to say when you have good and bad in the same post.
  15. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, which it should be if you will be awake.

  19. riding all the way? crikey... should make the journey fun, although you might have to pack very conservatively... lol we are going down to the black forest this year, my wife riding down on her own bike for the first time rather than pillion the last 2 years touring
