Surgery looming??
I just don't get it, I know when I'm busy it might take me a while to sort stuff but at least its a car part not someones life I'm messing with. I've been frank with them about the problems and the fact we want to start a family and won't with an op looming but he obviously isn't bothered by that. I can't actually move my life on and am stuck waiting with no help or regard for my life or state of mind, the op is life changing and a big decision and he knows that!

Surgery looming??
Ever wondered what happened with this, me to ! Been chasing since January and things went backward from Feb onwards, sent them about 5 emails of progress and the problems that have started. As usual no replies so sent one 4 weeks ago, polite but to the point. The secretary rings next day as says can't reply to emails, been busy, bed shortage etc etc. i can accept bed shortage and emergencies but thought I'd point out would a letter/call be unreasonable maybe along with an out patient appointment so at least I get some help rather than struggle on. So she'll get him to contact me..... 4 weeks later, oh there's a surprise... nothing. Called today to be told he's away now until July, maybe the co-ordinator can send out a letter for an outpatient appointment, should be ok for SEPTEMBER !! F**king joke. Told her not to bother, not interested and I don't want to be treated by him (not that I have been) any longer and will transfer to another surgeon.

Another pointless and annoying thread
174 views and 16 comments so far on this one, that's more the progress thread of my build, think I'll save the effort of updating it :pinch:

The S14 300SX is getting nearer
Standard engine, more room in the 200 for it than the Z ! Figure with Noz's touch 400bhp will be enough with the lighter car and its stripped out!

The S14 300SX is getting nearer
Got stuck in again this morning, fitted ally rad which amazingly clears the bonnet! All the water system done, boost side done as much as possible. Oil system, one run left so just waiting on a part, hopefully Mr Silverline can get it done soon  then the last of the wiring so it can be started

The S14 300SX is getting nearer
Well the project went away for wiring, well about 10 months ! They found engine mounts were out and a few other issues and I never had time to bring it back, well last month they dropped it back for me. I'd just sent the 300 off to be painted so had discovered my car "mojo" which I had lost for 6 months. So feeling in the mood I got cracking, the engine has been in and out about 6-8 in the last 10 days to get things sorted. So today I got the new subframe welded, swapped the late spec loom to an early one so the plugs are right and dropped the engine in.

Oil tree question
Ooh really, off the block would be great ! If I nail this the Nissan S14 300sx will be a whole lot closer

Oil tree question
Ok odd question, hopefully Silverline will be assisting but thought I'd throw it out there to see what people can think of. Problem is the standard oil tree fouls the steering rack of the 200, so if I sit the engine higher I can get a sandwich plate in but I think the engine is too high. I have a remote oil filter set up so just need to run a feed out and a return. Current idea is 1 off the sandwich plate and the other off the thread where the filter would screw to. Ideal situation would be no sandwich plate on the bottom and the return / feed off the oil tree or even cut the tree and weld the sandwich plate to that so I can lower the engine. For reference the turbo has been moved so I have room where the tree comes out. Any ideas folks....

Trying to find....
Not sure what you call them... front corner splitters ? Usually mount 1 or 2 each side on the corner of the front bumper on a 45° downwards angle, only short ones maybe 30cm long?
