  1. When you in? You can say hi to the 200 for me!
  2. I can pass your number on to G or look him up on Facebook, my 200 is there at the moment as he is wiring in the VG lump for me. He has the means to trailor cars as well.
  3. I was going to post this in our section but thought it might get missed and also might interest a few people, more to come but an insight on the silicone hose making process... http://www.facebook.com/SFSHoses?ref=hl#!/media/set/?set=a.10151122745523062.442664.79927063061&type=1
  4. Buy back, hand the car over to someone you trust like Jeff, Jimmer etc with some of the cheque and have back a perfect car repaired!

  7. Wishing as many victims as possible pull through, and sympathy to the families of the ones who haven't this is truely shocking. I used to live on one of the roads where this has hapened. What goes through the mind of a person to deliberately go out and run people and kids down, he needs to be strung up for murder! What is wrong with people today!! http://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/2012/10/19/massive-police-operation-following-hit-and-run-reports-in-west-of-cardiff-91466-32066494/
  8. Again, thanks for the support guys and gals. I haven't been on here for a while as I have seriously curbed online time in the evening as it usually lead to working and had decided on some time for myself for once. I had a week away and replied to one customer telling him to contact the office as I was away and he said 'that's not good enough' :mad2: We went Malta for a week to chill and reflect and I am feeling better about the situation at the moment, I even did a PADI diving course and now have my open water licence. I figured it gives me a target next year and if I can get back to diving then it won't stop me doing anything....
  9. With everything that's going on I'm thinking of cutting my losses and getting a running car, I have sold the forged engine and tubs and arranged to buy standard engine/tubs from Mr Derby to drop back into mine with the manual conversion. The engine will have new piston rings and bearings so all good there, just all needs dropping in and an exhaust. My thought is to sell her as is for someone to finish her off and have a good solid JDM in gun metal grey. Also my 300sx track car http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?163127-The-S14-300SX-is-getting-nearer&highlight= which is nearing completition, the wiring will be done so just needs a prop (about £80-100) and exhaust. The car is stripped out and has the TT engine and box, the front is powerflex bushes and new ast coilovers, accusump, 2 bucket seats with harnesses. Would £2500 be reasonable amount to ask? Like I said this is a thought and not definite but wondered what others think?
  10. Oh well..... I guess I know what was coming, the surgeon didn't mess around with 'more test' 'another option' basically I have none, the surgery construction they did 12 years ago has had it's day, if they redo it chances are it'll go the same way. So 1 hour with him, 1 hour with the specialist nurse, 3-6 months time and 5-6 hours on the operating table / 6 weeks recovery and that's me done and this time its permanent. I know deep down it's the best and only option and will make things better but still not easy to come to terms with
  11. Thanks for the messages guys, Thursday I see the surgeon so will have a better idea of what/when is happening but have seen the consultants letter to him already and he's sure there is no alternative. Strange thing is I know if all goes well it will be better in the long run but know how I feel about myself will hit rock bottom and that's the bit I can't accept. My 1st wife said to me when I had the 1st op before it was reversed that 'you're stuck with me as no one else will want you like that' I know my new wife is nothing like that but I think that's the thing I can't get over..
  12. You got it spot on mate...
  13. Some might of noticed I've hardly been on here for quite a while, work at SFS has been ridiculously busy with shows and staff holidays. Kind of lost my mojo on the cars again and even the garage build has stopped  I have to see the surgeon in 2 weeks as my specialist has said there's nothing he can do for me and the internal reconstructional surgery they did 12 years ago all has to come out and they can't redo it again as I have lost to much of my small bowel as it is. Gutted is an understatement, I'm not sure how I face this as before the reconstruction I had a tempoary fix which I hated and now this will be a permanent thing. I know this seems a little criptic but some people know my problems and should be able to work it out, at 38 this isn't something I want and my wife has had no experience of it either, its worrying how she and indeed I will feel with this. Took the step today to call the specialist nurses about counselling which for me is a big step as I 'don't do feelings' and usually do the pull yourself together speech but I know confidence will nose dive even if all goes well with no complications, just finding it hard to motivate myself about anything at the moment....

  17. Does anyone know what the value would be on the engine spec below, capable of big power and bullet proof. Wiseco pistons (88mm I think) Eagle rods Metal HG 650cc injectors which have been flow tested Port and polished heads New cambelt, all gaskets/seal New oil pump New water pump The full build and head work done by Jimmer but hasn't been run yet
  18. Japslapper don't forget we do brake lines with forum discount!
  19. Oil drain, away being welded as we speak
  20. Another evening on the car and the brakes are bleed although I replaced the split line and started bleeding to find the other one went, good job I made the other one as a spare to change later! Most of the accusump/oil system done now with -10 lines. The car has has a coat of laquer ready to flat back to matte tomorrow. Seat bracket tack welded so I can mount the seat, ecu loom fitted and connected, manifold bolted in place and the last of the red hoses swapped out!
