  1. I know, I was being nice and never said anything bad :innocent:
  2. Only problem you have is they don't offer anymore hose kits for the Z.
  3. Bonnet, grill and bumper from later spec car, that's it. All available on eBay for not to much but car looks so much better and newer. Pabs, went for carbon as it came from work and with the car black it's not to in your face
  4. Yes, loves it so brownie points for me!
  5. Gave the wife's A3 a facelift and carbon bonnet this weekend! What do you guys think?
  6. These turned up yesterday by UPS :w00t: Just need to make them fit, I'm sure with some cutting and welding to the S/S manifold they'll go on!
  7. All good on mine and reliable! You could buy SFS twin pistons, two bungs and some vac tube to fit and have change from that tho! I'm running two on mine at the moment.
  8. Didn't get to drive, I will when the 200 is done. The RX has an 'up' pipe straight off the turbo through the bonnet and that's the exhaust!! The occasional burst of flame is no more than 18 inches from the windscreen!
  9. Remove VG30 engine from 200sx and give to Jimmer for rebuild Remove engine from 300 and put in 200 Wire in said engine above Get rebuilt engine from Jimmer and fabricate manifolds for turbo swap Get car painted Refit new engine and turbos Fit manual conversion Plumb in new turbo set up Finish 200sx
  10. Went to Pembrey today for a drift day, managed to bag a passenger ride in a RX7, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgo-LeCgbFo&context=C3680a39ADOEgsToPDskK39lm0QJlJ52GmqETDnME4 1.04min of me trying to film while my head bounces off the roll cage!!!
  11. Too late, I can run it up to temp now as all the top end wiring/water/boost/air hoses are out as well as the rad!
  12. I guess I'm just wondering whether to just do them anyway?
  13. So I assume all plugs out and throttle body flaps open is the best way. Any other things to do on the 300 when testing?
  14. Tried to do a compression test on the engine before it comes out but don't think there is enough life in the battery as result were all over the place 50-125psi and the turnover speed wasn't great. I only wanted to have a quick check to decide whether or not to change the head gaskets while the engine is out. Do I spend time messing about charging the battery or shall I just do the gaskets to be safe?
  15. Pictures to come on the weekend but radiator and fan brackets made, just need to be made in thicker steel. Custom sump template made up for oil pick up (thanks Mr Kellogs for the cardboard!) And then the sad job of removing the donor engine from my 300, rad+fan out, all wiring disconnected, all vac/boost/air lines disconnected. Next the horrible job of the bits underneath to disconnect!!
  16. Welding and using the original auto diff and a 300 gearbox. I'm only going to get a map on the car for around 350-360bhp so the diff should cope. That kind of power is plenty as the car is stripped bare!
  17. Can take a few hours so I'm sure you'll be back up to speed soon.
  18. Work has started again along with the ZED. Pictures soon, I have cured the big problem of the turbo fouling the steering rack which slowed me down a lot so its full steam ahead!!
  19. Same as but in the last week or so I've found my mojo that has been awol since before Christmas so have ordered loads of parts and they're all starting to arrive so getting back into it!!
  20. Did wonder what the f@@k you were going on about! lol
  21. Drove mine today to, reversed it up the gravel drive and dam auto got stuck and dug itself into a hole by wheel spinning:angry: Finally got it to the top, turned her off, locked it up, end of the drive :pinch: Then again, the engine is coming out in a few weeks!!
  22. When you do my build I'm sending you my tubs to bolt on and do the oil lines!!!!
  23. Project 1 503bhp, Audi TT 225bhp and another 300zx @300bhp.
