  1. Japfest is always a good show and one to kick the season off, i know we have cars there but why not got at it a bit bigger! At SFS we always pick a show season starter, middle and one to fnish the season and it works well as people get used to you being there. If we did that aand had deadicated stands with lots happening that could be a start?
  2. No offence taken, we managed 1 good turnout this year and yes 6 is the best we've had in the last 3-4 years. I'm hoping we can do one last one in October before cars come off the road for the winter. Then start fresh in May at Japfest!
  3. :scared: about time you came to a game then to relearn what your missing!
  4. I guess you skate at Gosport or IOW so go with Sheppy's advice and get comfy on the ice 1st, the moment you kit up and carry a stick then the balance changes so you need to be ok without them 1st. The normal session are great for building your skills, quiet session are good for practising backwards but busy ones for changing direction and turns. Being able to stop and go backwards is a good start so keep going, start to build up speed to. If your wondering I've been a referee for the last 11-12 years and ref the semi professional English Premier League and used to play rec when I had the time.

  6. I'm there so come and say hello, garage 7A and B, big stand this year!!!
  7. I'll be grateful if you can do the pics anyway!
  8. An update, custom subframe for test fit, if it works it'll need alot more welding! Bolted in to place And finally an engine to sit on it, looks at home in there don't you think?
  9. Well went to see the specialist yesterday.... Basically nothing more they can do so it's high strength antibiotics which may eventually wear off and stop working or under the knife! TBH I've had a couple of sh*t weeks and several nights of being up for 2 hours in quite a bit of pain so back on the tablets. I think I have accepted it's tablets for a year or so and then accept my fate under the knife, man this sucks!!

  19. Yup :whistling: But my thought process explained... I want a S14 for track, I buy one cheap with a knackered SR, sell turbo/loom/ecu and some other bits and cost of buying car covered The S14 has to be quick so rebuild SR for big power = £££££££ I have a spare TT engine/tubs/manual box/intercoolers, so ECU/Loom, few other bits, some hard work and J Dixon chip and 350bhp!!!!
