Just my 2p worth, but if cost is a factor, buy another car along side the Z. After owning the Z for a year, Ive bought myself a Pug 106 diesel and garaged the Z. This means that i save money on commuting (55mpg), insurance (Saved £1100 by going to classic car), and the Z gets to stay nice and warm in this weather ;) And only comes out at playtime :) Which means less wear and tear on the Z. If only Id done that a year ago, I would have had a lot more money to spend on the car! :)

When I got mine, it had a UK spec rear put on, then had a switch wired into the dash. Looks spot on.

How happy am I with Houghton? Very. £440 with all mods declared! Thats cut down my insurance bill by £1100!!! Nice. :)

You can get the '99 spec rears Luke sells them at the Zed Centre. Or do you mean totaly crystal like? 99 Spec rears

Check out as many cars as you can. I looked at loads at dealers, then bought mine off of a forum member. It had all the history since it came into this country and had been well looked after. Absolute bargin it was. :) Plus if you buy one off of here, you can do a search and see what kind of problems the cars had in the past.

Yep its mydoom. There's going to be a whole lot more of these this year. So make sure you follow the following: 1, Dont open unsolicted emails. 2, keep your anti virus software up to date. 3, use a personal firewall if you dont have a hardware one, there are several free ones available. 4, Always update your windows o/s. P.S. Most virus types these days spoof the from email address. So any Mail admin types out there that have their gateways set to fire off a reply saying,"You have a virus" Please switch them off, its worse than spam. :p

Doesnt this strike anyone as more than a little childish? :( There's just doesnt seem to be the need for this. All it seems to do is make the club seem amatuerish. Dont get me wrong, Im all for the club, and what it could achieve. But when you see this, it doesnt send the right message for the club. Just my 2p worth.

Bucking the current trend of people selling I know, but my heart has overuled my head (with threats) and Its staying. :) It may be off the road for some time whilst I try and climb out of the money pit the car generated, forcing me down the route of a £300 car. But I suppose I can feel a lot easier about it when I know that someday, it will be back. Oh yes. ;) And I have my plans for it as well.... ;)

Have you got the original spoiler? If so, it may be full of water. I had mine replaced with a lightweight spoiler, and the difference is amazing.

Hmm. Could be a problem with loose pipes when cold, then expanding and sealing the leak? Mine reads -18 or 19 from startup. (Aftermarket gauge as well.)
