Hmm, mine ran fine. Although i didnt push it as hard as I would with Optimax. Doesnt Optimax have loads of cleaning agents in it as well? Does anyone have a good knowledge of these fuels? All you can get off of the manufacturers websites is PR rubbish.

Could be the questions were designed to get the answers they want. Such as, "Look, the Male age group 25-35 think that speed cameras are a bad thing, but their the ones who get caught most, so they would say that." Does that make me too cynical? ;)

Optimax is much better than standard unleaded. Since chipping the car and upping the boost, Ive run it on unleaded once, and on full boost there was the sound of detonation. Only for a second, mind. But from then on its only had Optimax. Apart from on Sunday ;) Had to fill up on the motorway with BP Ultimate. No dett, always good. Then I read in Japanese performance Mag that BP Ultimate is 102 RON??? I thought they'd just rebranded the SUL, and put the cost up by about 8p a litre. Thoughts please? Bri.

Ive only been on here for about a year, but this place has made owning a Z a lot easier. And a lot cheaper. Ive met some good people through this forum, and had a lot of laughs as well. The only downside has been certain arguements going on, that have left a bad taste in my mouth. But, that aside, this place is a good place and a far better forum/club than others ive seen. Just my 2p worth. Bri.

Just a quick, slightly off topic question; if I change the default size of 225/50R16 to a wider tyre, what is the largest recommended width/sidewall size? BTW, ive used them (mytyres) and they were spot on with delivery times. Would use them again. Brian.

You can tell the difference, engine runs smoother/quieter when run with 10w60 shell.

Ive used magnatec for the last two oil changes. But before that, it was Shell Helix Ultra 10w60. Oil is just as clean when I change it now, but oil pressure seems to be a bit lower now on idle.

Rich, It's not fun when that kind of thing happens. Feel for you, mate. :( But its not as shiny as when I last saw it! ;)

That really does look at lot better than the alphas you get these days. :)
