  1. Anyone tried these yet? Just ordered a pair for the front, we'll see how they handle the damp icy roads in the weeks ahead. Brian.
  2. Try Chris @ GetGreddy in the Traders Forum. :)
  3. I use optimax by itself, no problems encountered! :) Saying that, Im running different maps to standard.
  4. ...If none of the above work, you can try and remove the solinoid that holds connects to the little button. I had the same problem and couldnt remove my key from the ignition. I had to remove the solinoid to get the key out. HTH Brian.
  5. try http://www.zcentre.co.uk Luke does a few different lighting options, might want to give him a bell.
  6. Best advert for keeping your Zed Ive seen all week!!! :)
  7. Well it all depends on the next 7 days, but if I go ahead with it, I would like about 450 - 500 (at the flywheel) by next summer. I'll give you a call about the details. Cheers, Brian.
  8. There seem to be a few places to turn to for servicing and repairs these days, but who woul you trust to tune your car. By that I mean extensive work to get reliable, big bhp. I know that MAC is using Nisstech for that car :D But are there any other companies who know how to get solid results? As my car is not selling, I may be forced down another route... ;)
  9. Dont want to sound negative, but if you have to make a claim, ignorance will not be any defence at all. They will void your insurance. Best to declare it. Just my 2p worth. Oh, and may i congratulate you on an excellent choice of car. :)

Oh man... Rich your car was lovely. After all the hastle with the stereo as well... I know where you're coming from though, Im selling up as well. :( Brian.
  11. Dont know about that, this one didnt appear to receive as much TLC. Red's OK in moderation, but not when its a fadded red. ;)
  12. Do you use the A52 out of Derby each morning?
  13. Cheers! Brian.
  14. Has anyone got Bob from Safe & Sound's phone number? Cheers, Brian.
  15. This one had small zorsts.. And a few spots of rust on the near side rear wheel arch.
  16. Was it you? Enquiring minds want to know...
  17. Go for it! The more bits available the better. I voted for the chrome plenum, but it wont be for a while.... :)
  18. Hmmm... Drive past there everyday. Not seen one there before. Must arrive late. ;)
  19. If the car has loads of service history and has been looked after, that could be enough. If you buy a nasty one that hasnt had as much tlc, it maybe that could cover half? It all depends. I bought a good one. The engine and gearbox are in excellent condition, and just regular servicing has all that has been needed. It all comes down to buying the best you can afford at the start. I dont think you should buy a rough one and throw money at it. Bad idea. If you buy a good one, keep it in as good as condition as you can. That way you can spend the money on modifying it. ;)
  20. If you buy one that has had a lot of proven servicing done, you should be safe. I bought mine in near stock condition, the body needed a full respray, but it had had a lot of care and attention since it had been imported, which was all documented. I have continued with the 'no expense spared' level of service and not had ANY mechanical problems at all. Touch wood. ;) The only problem Ive found with the car is that you cant get surf boards and passengers in it. Which is why its up for sale, here comes the plug... Up for sale
  21. If the locking mechanism is loose (like mine was) get three new bolts, adjust and tighten the locking mechanism and your sorted.
  22. Mine is will be perfect when it comes back from the garage. ;) Seriously, it will be! Pity its going up for sale. :( Wanna keep her, but the need for a diesel estate ( ) is getting too much. Oh, well. I'll only get another in a bout 5 years... Back to the point though, everything about this car is good. It even helps the economy by keeping lots of money in circulation. ;)
  23. Unlucky mate. Ill watch out for it when I get the car back.
  24. Van, I did this last year. Was this at a roundabout in Derby?
