After about 3 weeks i finally got my new Chrome Clear Side bumper Lights Had to get them from the US and it cost me $90 AUD in total including shipping. I was going to wait to put them on but i just couldnt, and im so glad i didnt as they look bloody beautiful on the car:). I still need to find a front side indicator connector and loom which ill wire up to the licence plate loom;). What do u guys think

I was just reading about the updates on the beet kit thread and they the guy running it said that the you dont get a front bar with the kit you have to use your own front bar so its just the rear end and the side parts of the fit they are making. so might see some weird style body kits at the end of the year.

haha its good to see the uk forums interested in what us aus forums are up to, me personally i dont like this kit much but it seems alot of people in aus thinks its worth getting, currently they are planning on making fibreglass copies but we are only allowed to have 8 copies in the whole country or some shit like that because of royalists to the company that make the kit. Hey guys i just finished my Cars profile on the Cardomain website and i wanted to see what you guys thought of my car. I did my best to add as much userful information as possible so let me know what you think. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2645958 Also on that note you'll see the lastest mod done to my car, a 300 kmph Z speedo which i installed on Friday last week(thanx to fleet). Got ringwood speedos to install the new speedo plate for me and i installed the speedo into my old NA cluster myself. I even added in a stock boost gauge

Well i did want the the series 2 C/C unit as i want to put asll the improvement parts the z32 series had in the 10 yrts they were being produced. I got these from a Zed Specalists Workshop in Australia but i didnt know i needed the Amp ECU so atm im still trying to source the ECU in australia. I think the new features on the S2 unit are better as u can select whether u want to warm up ir feet or face or both as well as having 4 fan speed settings. If i can get one from the uk it doesnt bother me, i just want it. Ill post a item wanted thread but if anyone is has a s2 Amp ECU for sale please pm me.

Put my new Series 2 Climate Control Unit into my car yesterday and im not sure if its working correctly. I had a Series 1 unit, so i just plug in the series 2 unit everything lights up properly and the A/C works but what does the Mode Function mean and whats the fan symbol mean/Do when activated?? I did find out that it has a auto cycle though but im sure i should be able to adjust my own air vent directions and adjust the fan speed. Can anyone help??

The Climate control unit i was talking about is this one It doesnt have awp readings and the writing on the module is slightly different to the electric modules from the 89 model i have This was taken from a 95 jap-spec

Thanx for all the info help guys, im not to worried about the exterior kit parts as i intend to get an aftermarket kit like the Velisde C2 or something like that, I believe the 99spec had the best the 300zx zed could have with parts and options so i want to add them in as best i can. Thanx to Daves_Zed for the website link, i had it translated but it was sorta hard to understand all the tech part but thank you none the less.

interesting, i want to install most of the 99 model improvements into my 89 model sometime in the future, does anyone know exactly what the 99's came with compared to the 89 models. like; - Black Swade interior with 300zx written on the seat covers. - illuminated door switches, - Airbag steering wheel - Airbag Dash board - Updated Climate control unit - 2000spec Xenon Headlights - 2000spec taillights - 2000spec Rear Center Panel with Red 300zx logo - 2000Spec Front Bar - Red Z Badge on Front nose panel - Seat Belts not on doors but on the B pillars(i think they are called) - Updated Engine Electric Connectors, to prevent Corrosion(eg. Injector plugs etc.) is what ive researched and gathered from looking at photos on the net. Does anyone know anything else the 99's came with that i could add to my 89 j-spec???

Im a member of the aus300zx.com website myself learnt a massive amount of info about the car from the guys there. If it wasnt for the aus300zx website i would have done half the stuff ive done on my car so far. Ive also hosted my own cruises with the guys as well, just a great bunch of guys who all love zeds:). Ive only just started using this site trying to leanr more about the later model zeds so i can upgrade my own 89 model to hopefully make it look like a 99 model one day.

So now it looks like it isnt just the 94 model+ switches that light up so is there any specific way of determining if the switches will light up without turning the lights on???

I appreicate all your help guys, it does seem that 90 models got these switches not just the 94+ models which hopefully means i have a good chance to get these parts. Ill keep looking around might try and buy some new switches from a member from this site who knows they do work, or get them from japan somehow. thanks again for all your help guys.

sweet thanx guys, so i know they do exists. If some1 had part numbers that would be the next step or if some1 knew where i could get these babies that would help to. thanx for your help guys, mgh297 did u buy new switches at one point in time or did they come with the car when u brought it???

So are these switches a stock part of the 300zx tho. or did customising of the switch button itself need to be done??? Anyone got photos of these switches when they are illuminated???

Australian zed member here, Im just curious if anyone with a 94+ model zed has rare interior illuminated door window switches which light up when u turn the lights on, like the side pods writing lights up?? Ive been trying to source these without success.
