99spec OEM Xenon HID Headlight Install Questions
Sweet thank you smithy, So what your saying is the unwired versions ive seen come with the HID globes and the ballasts and stuff i just have to wire it up to my wireing loom. IS it better for me to get the pre wired versions then?? I do want to tell everyone where im getting the headlights from but i want to get the lights first before i tell everyone as this plan my not work, as ive only just found out this shop existed in the US but the US forums gave them the thumbs up with buying parts from them. Ive already emailed them about the lights but dont expect a response till tomorrow so ill play it safe for now and just continue to ask questions but i can say they sell the headlights for $1549.99 USD (not including shipping) And they sell 2000spec tailights for $390 USD complete with centre panel.:)

99 OEM Xenon Healight Install Questions
I tried posting this in the FAQs section but didnt get much response. So ill try here as well Im in the market for the 99spec Xenon healdights and ive been shopping around and found very cheap set for sale in the US. Now I have a 89 Jspec model zed and my only concern is install the headlights. I have seen the pre-wired version and no wired version and it seems from what ive read in the aus300zx.com forums the pre wired version wont work for the Jspec models cuz they are designed for the US zeds. Has anyone on this forum brought and installed the 99spec xenon headlights and know how to do it. If i buy just the healdights, do i have to buy a HID kit anyways or is it just plug and play??? I know ill probably get a few members say dont spend you money on headlights just buy a kit for $300 but i wont my zed to have OEM parts on it and here in Australia the OEM Xenon headlgiths are very rare so i want to add that to my car. Atm im looking at $1900 delivered to my door from the US.

- Different Brake Master Cylinder from 2000spec model
Recently i found a japanese guys personal 2000spec model website and have been looking at all the photos of his zed and found some interesting things. While i was checking the maintance section he made i found a picture of this Which seems to show a different designed brake master cylinder to what ive previously seen on all zeds, does anyone know anything about this new cylinder.- Question on picutre from 99 Z32 Bouchure
Cheers thanx Legrath, i will look into smithy version but ill see if an original nissan one is obtainable (probably not) but thanx for the tip. Whats there a special auto gearnob for the Version R or was the Navan gearnobs the only options???- Question on picutre from 99 Z32 Bouchure
Im not sure if you guys can answer my question or let me its true or not but the other day i found a guys personal 300zx page by accident (i was trying to goto the http://www.z32-zone.com website to check prices) and come up with this site www.z32.com Not sure if anyone on here has be to this site or not but he has a few scans of pictures from the 99spec Bochure and i just wanted to ask if any of the material in those photos were actually in the 99spec model zeds?? In this photo im curious to know if the door sills are chrome or painted silver and does the 300zx logo light up??? And what about the Shifters were these optional extras for the 99spec??? This picture shows the differences in interior styles for the 99spec, im guessing the left pics are of the Verison R and the other is just the Version S model. Any help with actual facts would be much appreicated on this thanx guys- New Updates For My Z Cardomian Website:)
Its ok i had the rims swapped over and then had to get the uni-directional tyres swapped as they were rotating the wrong way. ill put an updated pic of all 4 rims facing the rite way asap- New Updates For My Z Cardomian Website:)
Hey everyone, Just wanted to post up the new updated page for my Z of Cardomain.com. When i first posted my cars profile back in June 07, my goals where to add a big bodykit but ive realised i really want to make my car into a 2000spec model as best i can replucate that model. I have been researching the later model Zs throughly and found alot of improvements went into the z32 over the 10 years of production so i want to add those improvements as much as possible. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2645958 Im still building the site and theres plenty of stuff i still need to do but I hope that something useful is there for someone to use on their own Z Lastest Pics: These are my new rims i got already polished by another aus300zx member, love them to bits and the good news is the 2000spec models came with this as an option i think:P New rear bumper lights i got from ebay- zed front end
The early 89 to 94 model zeds had the strip a grey colour and then nissan made the strip the same colour as the car colour which improved the look somewhat. When my 89 model was imported the strip was grey like the photo and then when i got hit in a accident and the insurance company replaced my front bar the panel beaters painted the center strip to match the car colour. At first i was gonna complain but then i posted on the forums and found out it was a update to the front bar from the 94 models onwould.- My new Rims:)
Wow everyone likes the new polished rims:), Im going to give them a good clean today but i need to polish them up myself a bit to get them looking even better. I didnt polish them myself i brought them already polished from a forums member on the aus300zx.com forums. As soon as i saw the pix i put my hand up for them and i havent stopped smiling every time i look at my car zed with her new shiny rims. Unforumately the center caps aren't polished and was thinking of getting chromed ones from the US but im not 100% if the center caps are different in the 2000spec photos.- My new Rims:)
Yeh i love the polished look, i think it has transformed my car heaps since putting them on. I have also discovered the 2000spec Version R zed had chromed stockies as an option rim choice (I think)- My new Rims:)
Finally my tyre woes are over, You see when i brought my car in 2006 the goodyear tyres that came with the car had gone all hard from the trip over from Japan. The hard rubber made the tyres make this rolling sound which when all 4 wheels where on was very loud and annoying to listento. About 1 month after owning the car i got what i thought were 6 zx rims with good tyres on them to only find 6 skyline rims with 3 x 2 different pairs of tyres on all 6 rims Anyways atm they were better then the tyres that came with the car so i made do with the tyres i had. A few months back i finally transfered my 2 rear tyres from the skyline rims to my zx rims but couldnt do the fronts as the tyre specs where different. (ones on the car where 205 and the ones on my zx rims where 225) Anyways after a few weeks one of the tyres blow on my while driving and couldnt be repaired so had to use one fo the shit tyres from before. And now 2day i have my new polished zx rims i got from Mike480 I love them and even though they are 2 different sets of tyres they all match spec wise. Fronts Kumhos ECSTA AST 225/50R16s Rears are Falkens Ziex ZE-326 225/50R16s Here are the old rims Here are the new polished ZX rims:) Stunning Beautiful- B Pillar Seat Belt Coversion
Transfered my seat belts on the doors to my B Pillars to continue my 2000spec conversion project. I had this done by a compliancer so i know it was done right as these parts are part of the safety system so i didnt want to take any risks doing it myself. Basically the comliancer welded a nut onto the back of a steel plate which he then pot riveted to the inside of the chassis wall at the holes for the seat belt mounts. I acquired a set of B Pillar Seat belts from a wrecked ausSpec zed which fitted prefectly. Im very happy with the result and the belts feel alot tighter then my previous door mounted belts did. Anyways here are some pix- another *garage man* z story
What an idoit Salesmen. This is why i didnt go to a dealership to get my zed i brought mine from a importer with zed experience. Im sure the 93s did come with boost gauges from what ive read on these forums and the comment yours is not a real fairlady  what a dick doesnt matter if its a UK US Aus Spec or JapSpec they are all fairladys just named differently. I thought Fairlady was the Jap name for these cars whereas every else it was 300zx. Someone should go down there with a 93 model brouchure and show him exactly what the 93s came with.- Super Looking Widearch Kit
I think it was me who posted the black and white photos which i found out where the none wide version of the kit. But i have found another unquie wide body kit which i like which ive only seen on one zed owned by a guy in ACT Australia. Ive read his whole kit is fiberglass and it came on the car from Japan.- Different colour stiching for handbrake boots
I know there are 3 different colour stichings for the handbrake (E-Brake) boot but im not 100% sure which if all of them are OEM boot stiching. The one in my 89 NA Jspec has a white stich to it but did the z32 come out with black and then in the 99 it was red??- Your zed- an every day car?
I use my 89 Jspec NA everyday, ive done 23,000 ks in one year and did the 100,000 k serivce a month after purchasing her from an importer. I treat my car very well and i dont thrush it like some drivers do. I love the zx for their style and look not for power or racing ability. I do open her up on occasions every now and then but i dont like to put undo stress on the enigne as i wont my zx to last me the rest of my life:). I think he you follow the regular maintance procedures the car will last you longer then u think.- 93 model brake rotor Air Guide Upgrade
Hey guys i was just looking through the http://www.300zx.org.uk/tech_18.htm and found this thread for the 93 model Brake rotor Air guide upgrade http://www.ttzd.com/tech/deflectortech.html Is this a real z32 model improvement or a custom made air guide. Anyone with a 93+ zed have this on their cars???- EGR Questions - Did nissan drop the EGR in the later model Zeds??
sweet thanx guys, im glad to hear that as its a bitch to get out if the engine is alreadfy out of the car.- EGR Questions - Did nissan drop the EGR in the later model Zeds??

Does anyone also known if it was dropped what did nissan do without the EGR in place???- Full AIV Removal For JapSpec Non-Turbos by DJ_Party_Favor
To block the balance tube and EGR, i was told to use a vaccum cap which i found at a local hardware store. They fitted the connectors perfectly And here is the new look for engine bay in the area where the solenoid was. So much more room now - Different Brake Master Cylinder from 2000spec model
