  1. looks good, what was the total cost after the repair in the end, was it worth it?
  2. and they won't fit....
  3. cheers, though I suspect not in my slicktop with a 10point cage!
  4. that is a toad ;)
  5. I know some members here travel with work a fair bit, wondering if anyone with a van/large car go vaguely near tewkesbury and ascot at all? Need a pair of doors moving in the near future and don't think they'll fit in the mini or the Zed! Cheers!
  6. looks like a tidy job was done of the install. Not to my taste and lol at 12k rpm limit :)
  7. I think you jut have to take their peak bhp readings with a pinch of salt as they usually use race gas to achieve them. Personally I reckon they are quite reasonable if we were to do the same.
  8. good choice of wheels, the tires look a bit on the skinny side! What size are they? Car looks good and those seats look fantastic, you should get some proper mounts for the belts though.
  9. would love to join you but won't be able to make it. Take lots of pics!
  10. donation sent, all the best mate :)
  11. Competion Car Insurance includes a few track days and token amounts for any additional ones
  12. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge, that will tell you if it's a pressure issue. Sounds like you're jumping the gun a bit to be honest. Is your chip generic or did you have a mapping session with JD? Has it always detted above 16psi or recently started?
  13. selling my wings west bumper in urathane if you're interested, the thing is virtually unbreakable and in great condition
  14. the 40 profile is the right size, best fiddle with the arch than run the wrong profile. In terms of the tire company, tell them to get lost. I use http://www.event-tyres.co.uk/ and they are great, cheap, and come and fit the tyres at your place
  15. good, now you can get the rights size fronts 235/40 R18. Generally good tires are: Toyo T1R Falken 452 Goodyear Eagle Depends what you want really, I run Toyo R888's myself which are fantastic but compromised in the wet or cold weather!
  16. you'll want 235/40 on the front otherwise it'll have a tiny profile and be seriously stretched.
  17. no. They'll bolt up but will stick out a mile past the arches
  18. according to this http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp you'll be fine compared to mine. You'll have 8mm more internal clearance compared to my 19x10.5 et20
  19. I reckon you could skip the arch work on the rear if you use a 275/35 Fronts I'm not so sure about, I've run 265's without issue on a 9", and currently running 265's on a 10.5 but that still catches despite being rolled. You could always go with a 235 first time round and see how it goes.
  20. You should be able to go up to a 285/30 with a slight roll to the arch lip.
