  1. doesn't good for you then. Original turbos? To get zero boost, that's a huge leak, ie pipe blown off. You'd still get boost eventually with a small vac hose leaking, it'll just spool slower and not hit the same peak boost number. If a single turbo has gone, you won't see positive boost
  2. you need to put another gauge on, just to verify. if the needle says zero, either the MAP sensor isn't working for the gauge (driver side next to small fuse box) or you're not getting boost ,,,
  3. if it won't boost at all, one of the turbo's could have failed assuming when driving it falls flat on it's face when going into boost - that's a leak.
  4. Some progress, and yes, I had to do some cutting and drilling in the first week back! Boot attached with aerocatches (still need to figure the rear mounts out) Dry sump tank mounted mirrors attached (Bodymech kindly sprayed the baseplates) FMIC attached to get it out of the way and messed around with spacers at the front to work out how much I needed before fitting to the rear and dropping it further
  5. I have one, can't comment on fitting though
  6. Can you move them further out to better align with the shape of the car?
  7. looking good, saw the pics on FB the other day. How low is it now? obviously arches have been redone so difficult to really judge. I'm dropping mine at the moment and frame rail underneath is now about 9.5cm off the ground, looking to drop a teeny bit more too!
  8. Ticket sold already, figured if I had a 'car' day, best spend it sorting mine out I'm only 15mins from castle coombe if you fancy a cuppa before heading home
  9. TOTB is my target, signed up to japfest thinking the car was going to be back in Jan or Feb, so would have loads of time to reassemble, then I had the hair brained idea to make carbon stuff! Delays are all my fault, Allan at bodymech has been very patient
  10. She's home! pics don't do it justice ...
  11. :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
  12. Yes, trying to keep it too simple and got lost myself, though I would say they slow down a bit. Anyway, unlikely to cause any damage and doubt you'll notice losing the benefit they are supposed to provide. I'm still debating whether to refit my recircs or go without, leaning towards the later at the mo
  13. Actually gear changes at WOT is when they provide most benefit in theory. They prevent a type of compressor surge where the compressed air from the turbo is suddenly stalled when you close the throttle and the turbo wheels decelerate suddenly
  14. Good progress, love the colour and second a different wheel colour
  15. A fresh TT should be around 180psi per cylinder I think
  16. There's this really cool website that let's you search this kind of stuff, think it's called oogle or similar :)
  17. So many posts! Attempting to answer your questions, you should try to keep the lengths as similar as possible each side. Going to larger piping generally will mean it will be slightly leaner and you should have the tune checked
  18. Good luck, I'd very suspicious of any power claims, just look at the dyno section on here, it would rank very highly on there yet no one on the forum knows the car .... Before parting with any money, do a compression check
  19. give him a call next week when he's back from hols, he's very reasonable cost wise and exceptionally helpful
  20. Jimmer in Bristol, just up the road and will do a full check over for you inc Conzult
  21. Fuel smell from the exhaust? Check for boost leaks as said and also check the coolent temp sensor. Fuel smell in engine bay, check for fuel leaks
  22. Agreed on MPSS, fantastic tire
