  1. I paid on Saturday night from Italy!
  2. I hadn't considered that, was just going to unSorn it at some stage Gaz - finished is a very subjective term, still hoping to be at TOTB
  3. That's the intention, though a lot to do before that
  4. it runs, huge thanks to Jimmer and his contacts for fixing everything that needed doing quickly
  5. Not got many! Too busy getting stuff done IC piping Sump And back at home, mould all cleaned up, getting ready to make the cf part
  6. Pushing ahead Engine bay oil lines made and fitted dry sump mandrel setup adjusted and fitted calipers massaged to fit Coolant line done intercooler and piping fitted sensors and Efi harness fitted In car electrics fitted Lots of customisation and fabbing so slow progress but getting there!
  7. I don't know Greg, but disagree with the comments 're the fuel pump and controller. The 360/370 comment was from around 10yrs ago. Noel has proven you can get more out of the injectors, would still fit larger ones if you can though I would wait for your new setup rather than pay to get it mapped twice. Ps stock fuel pump is good for big power, however lots are starting to fail due to age, so a new pump is never a bad idea
  8. The bumper and wings were made of expanding foam and a layer of filler, was only ever intended to make a mould out of it, couldn't be used as a practical item. Slam panel is in the bin
  9. Engine and gearbox in, prop on, fuel hoses for top feed finished, main coolant lines 50% done, brake lines I had are in, rest arrive tomorrow. More oil line fittings also arriving tomorrow. Progress!
  10. Fun times ahead Mould done
  11. I'm glad you said that, I was staring at the pic and swearing to myself that's Dan's car! Ps thanks for the help with the geomasters
  12. Getting ready to mould Wing fixed after it's love tap with the wall at donnington and new mounts made. Mould off on Saturday morning then over to jimmer to refit engine gearbox etc
  13. That bumper bolt is a pain when going for lower offset wheels, but yours don't look extreme. How low is it exactly, would be interested to know the measurement between floor and lowest part of the rear subframe
  14. not aware of an aftermarket 3.69 crown & pinion
  15. did you break one? the r230 is very strong
  16. I run a 265 at the front, may go wider to a 295 once I get some testing time. This was done to increase track width, a 295 up front is possible with stock arches with some care taken around offsets
  17. Lol, it was a sheet I used as a dummy splitter and to make sure the base of the bumper was flat. In the garage making the real splitter now
  18. scary how much heavy they are, look at this thread started many years ago for some other figures http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?137277-the-weight-question
  19. Figuring out new brake lines First order arrived
  20. More updates while I'm here Front end from when I started Lots of shaping and sanding, turns out hardest part is making bothe sides the same, had to cut up one side twice now :(
  21. rails were box sectioned years ago to make space for these turbos, had them elongated back and down while at bodymech in case I ever get the chance to move engine lower and further back in the future. In theory, the new compressor covers won't cause fitment problems, but Ash's manifolds have moved the turbos slightly so we'll see
