I know I have an advert up…….
I just think 15K for what he is looking for is optimistic. Even shocked at the way prices have risen.

New MOT rules
I cannot remember if I changed them over as it was a couple of years. tbh Andrew I was being lazy as it is only a 15 minute job to take out the hid’s Having said that I think it was a bit petty as I have used the same garage for the MOT since importing the Z

Help & advice required
My Zed passed the MOT yesterday with the following advisories 1. near side & offside rear track rod ends have slight play (I can get) 2. rear fuel pipes at rear corroded! All pipes. 3. rear power steering pipe/hose slightly corroded. All pipes Are there any diagrams or write ups of 2 & 3 that members know of? Do they have to be custom made as I doubt they are off the shelf pipes! Any help appreciated Arthur

New MOT rules
My Z failed because of HIDs fitted. Plus brake pipes corroded. One garage thought the MOT tester was harsh about the pipes. Changing the HIDs over is only a 10 min job. All bake pipes are now changed. Booked in Monday.

Brake lines
Zed back in the garage to replace all the brake lines! I have enjoyed having the manual conversion done. Makes it more of a drivers car. I was a fan of the autobox too.

Average price of the 300zx?
Hi B4ven, looking at the prices of Zed's they have risen. Also depends on model, service history, work that has been carried out, upgrades & other info you can supply. Look at other zeds on the market to compare. I am sure over the next hours other members will add points too. Photos would help in the first instance though. Good luck

Soon to be owner, new to Z32's!
Hi there Howl, £10k even importing might be difficult to achieve for a TT manual Red/Black. I imported my Zed 6 years ago which I found in Japan through TC-V.com. I imported it myself without an agent. It takes approximately 3 months. It was called Trade Car View back then. Take a look at the web site, Nissan/FairladyZ 1990-1996 there are 48 to look at. They start at nearly £8K Add on shipping to your port in the UK + maritime insurance ( they will calculate that on the web site for you) Then the cost of collecting it from the port to your home or garage. You will pay import & VAT charges + MOT without a registration number (engine number needed) Not a lot of garages know this! An agent of course will do all this for you. Good luck with your search.
