Mini road trip to France
Hi there, just the usual things no big deal. I donโt bother with headlight deflectors as I donโt drive at night. Things Iโd do & take: Magnetic UK sticker, light bulbs, 2 yellow jackets ( in the car not in the boot), warning triangle & paper copy of car insurance, driving license. My AA membership (Gold) covers me for 3 short trips abroad per year breakdown. If I go for longer I take out their 5 ***** star breakdown for piece of mind. Plus all the usual stuff before, tyres, washer, water, oil, brake & hycas fluids & daily check whilst away. It also helps being 6 miles from ferries & 6 miles from Eurotunnel ๐

MOT fail
Hi all, yes went back to tester for some clarification. Took it to my car repair specialist who took the carpet up. It appears the foot pan has 4 anchorage points for the seat. & they need welding My carpet was wet - it had rained heavy the night before, it has been in the garage for the past couple of months. Iโm thinking my targa drain has shrunk & come away from the outlet which I will check when I get the Z back. This could be the reason of my floor pan issues.

MOT fail
My zed had a failed MOT on Thursday Under Major Defects! - seat belt anchorage prescribed area strength or continuity significantly reduced Nearside Front (floor pan) MOT report. My problem is this ! My seatbelt anchorage is not on the floorpan! So, I took the front Nearside seat out which is good ๐ What advice can you give? Arthur

WANTED - OEM dipped beam connectors with rubber covers
Hi Richard, I cannot understand how Nissan put such poor low beam lights on the Z! I fitted HIDs some years back then my garage failed it on them. I got fed up with changing them back & forth! might be worth getting a new sat as my ballasts are big so not easy to hide Arthur
