Thanks bud. I always thought having a larger AT cooler was more important due to the high amount of failures from these boxes, will the larger turbo cooler be more effective for the turbo's then? I thought the main reason for turbo failure was the seals going so i take it this is cooling related.

Its only about the size of a fist and was attached just behind the wheel arch. I thought it was factory fitted but i could be wrong. I checked the manual and the only audio related part from that area is the antenna timer? I'll post a pic later.

When i was cutting up my old z through the week i found a half circle shaped box with a Clarion sticker on it in the boot area. Anybody have any ideas what it is? I've checked my manual and the only thing i can see from that area is the aerial timer????

I was going to use my turbocharger oil cooler from my old uk car for my AT cooler but i've noticed my jap spec turbo oil cooler is half the size of the uk one. Should i just swap the turbo coolers over and invest in a new oil cooler for the AT?

Why not do a road trip and get the ferry from Greece to Cyprus?

I've no idea about the 300zx parts but Euro normally sell OE spec parts as well as aftermarket.

Eurocarparts sell Nissan parts now. I noticed in one of their brochures 300zx listed.

In the late 80's and early 90's i was in the Merchant Navy (i was only 19 at the time) my best mate then was Craig from Walker (Newcastle) on one trip we ended up in Oban (Craig was at college at the time) myself and the rest of the crew enjoyed a night drinking/singing in the Oban Inn, i got into a fight with a huge heavy metal dude, anyway i kicked his ass and he fecked off. In 2004 myself and my wife went to Oban for our 10th wedding anniversary due to the fact i have fond memory's of the place, we were in the Oban Inn and i was telling her of the great time i had there, we then went to Auly's bar and while i was at the bar i saw the same guy i had the fight with, i pointed at him and shouted i know you!! I went over and shook his hand and he said he remembered me, when we got talking it turned out my best mate Craig who i had lost contact with had married his sister and was living in Oban. He phoned his sister and it turned out my mate was first officer on the Oban ferry, he came down to the pub, we hugged, cried, laughed, we have even been on holiday since. Great memory's and still a great friend.

I've been to London a few times when i was doing my training in the merchant navy in the early 90's(Gravesend Nautical College) and we only got as far as Soho..... McDonalds. :slap: I saw some other landmarks but i was only interested in going on the piss. I even got caught short on the way from Gravesend to Charing Cross, as i was needing a pee and as there was no loo's on the train i decided to do my buisness out the door of the empty carriage just as it pulled into the station :mac1:

He doesn't come on here now since he bought a XKR. He was driving a champagne Merc estate.
