  1. Yes, i left my tubs connected when removing the heads just undone them from the downpipe and lifted head, manifold and turbo as one.
  2. if you look at the 3rd pic i think its the top row and second pin from the right
  3. These pics any good Vern? Added a 3'rd as it might be easier to count the pins.
  4. What are the chances my ECU was fecked too? The car has been sitting without an engine for quite some time.
  5. The only other thing i can think of is a break in the wiring harness either to the PTU or the ECU but where to start is another thing.:(
  6. Yes. I take it you mean without taking the engine out.
  7. I hope not! I cut the car up 2 weeks ago and sent it for scrap.;)
  8. Thanks guys! Its from a UK car so will it still be a speed chime or just a light warning? Only asking as the link Darrell posted it says they are found in Import Z's.
  9. Does anyone have any idea what this is for? I've been going through the parts i removed from my old Z but i cannot remember where this came from :mac1:
  10. just checked my manual, it must be a square panel as its 4 philips screws either corner. I only removed mine last week so it says a lot for my memory. I still have the fuel tank with pump from my old uk TT if you need them.
  11. Under where your spare wheel would be, i think its a triangular panel, unscrew that and you'll see the fuel pump on top of the fuel tank(actually sits flush at the top of the tank)
  12. No problem mate, PM me your address and i'll overnight it. In the meantime check the fuel pressure, pinch the feed fuel line with your fingers (just behind the fuel filter) and get someone to turn it over, you should be able to feel the pressure on the fuel line. Just something else to eliminate.
  13. If you want, my Z's off the road just now (no engine) i could send you mine Monday to try. I had a spare ECU but gave it to a guy with similar probs but never got it back lol. The only thing is its an auto but i think you can use an auto in a manual but not the other way.
  14. I take it the cars turning over on the starter? Might be worth trying a different ECU.
  15. I got a black and red key from US Ebay for about £13 delivered, even arrived the same week.
  16. Thanks Vijay, i just had a guy collecting my old dash and his didn't have a Sunload sensor so i just wondered what it was for.
  17. Can anyone tell me what a Sunload Sensor is for? Cheers.
  18. Happy Birthday
  19. I've got my PC connected to my 50" Plasma and have left it sitting on the windows home page for hours and its never left any traces of screen burn, my mate Brian (flikz) even commented on it because his Panasonic LCD leaves terrible screen burn images.
  20. I've got a 50" Samsung plasma and it makes a buzzing noise also but you don't really notice it because i've got a dolby digital amp blocking out the buzzing but it is annoying when your listening through the tv speakers. I've also got a 32" Samsung LCD in the bedroom, it has better picture quality but after just over a year i've noticed a couple of dead pixels.
  21. Flikz who was a member on here sells these diesel tuning boxes, he has them fitted to all his cars. Here's his email - info@tandemtuning.co.uk His names Brian.
  22. Thanks guys.
