I just bought some grey suede to re-trim my interior pannels, its rubber backed and really good quality, it normally sells for £40 a metre, i got nearly 5m for £20. The guy says he has about half a ton in various colours and also 1 ton of leather in various colours and also alcantara. Just thought i'd let you all know, if anyone's interested i'll post the details, i bought mine from ebay but he said he rarely lists on there. I'll post his ebay details in a minute, his names Garry. :duffer:

What sort of leatherette are you using Ed? I was planning on doing mine soon but i've noticed you can buy a foam backed leatherette to give more body to the pannels but then i don't know how the glue would take. Be good to see some before and after pics.

yeah this one's metal, i'll ask my cousin when i see her if she can get them as she works in Arnold Clarks parts dept, i always forget about her and buy my parts elsewhere but it was her who got me all the parts for the Primera as it was accident damaged. :headvswal

The arms the same but i changed the wiper part last year. Your right though the origional was a lot fuller, this is a bosch one. I try it anyway to give you an idea.

I think Mitsubishi built the engines for the Ford Ranger in the early eighties before that they used Mazda engines. (might be wrong lol)

Where's the best place to get one of these plastic clips that fit behind the barrel of the drivers door lock. I imagine its quite a common problem as the one on my spare doors was broken also. I take it they are only worth pennies but does MJP do them or would it be Nissan?

The car used to be red and has been sprayed silver so this didn't help my reasoning. :wack:

Yes its a Jap, was imported 2005 with 3 former keepers. I would have thought with 3 former keepers someone would have rectified the details by now or do you think its been left for cheaper tax insurance purposes lol.

Hi all, just wanted some advice on my V5. I bought the car on Christmas eve (2007) but it did not have the V5 as the guy was going to use the car for drifting so he never applied for it. I applied for the V5 and it arrived this morning but it doesn't have a model/Type on it just make Nissan, it also says 4 door saloon and 2000cc. When i filled in the request form i stated it was a 300ZX TT, Cylinder Capacity 2960. The reg number and the vin numbers all match as well as the colour so does anyone have any idea's why it just says Nissan, 4 door saloon, 2000cc? Is this just a mistake by the DVLA?

In all honesty i've read a lot of your posts about this and thought you were talking *****cks but i take my hat off, the car in 2 dimensional form (pics) differs enormously from in the flesh :bow: . My nephew who's 11, when i showed him another Z (with different bumper) he said was it in a crash?? From the mouths of babes lol. :D

I guess what i'm saying is pics don't do the car justice, it will only be a classic for what it is.

I bought a Strosek bumper for my old Z because i liked what i seen in pics but when you see it on the car it just looks wrong. I've seen loads of bumpers on the ZX since from guys from the forum coming to my house and the first thing you notice is that they all look as though they have been added and don't belong. All my opinion but even the guy i sold the bumper to never fitted it and got a 99 spec.

I don't get it, why change the origional bumper unless its a 99 spec, all after market bumpers look as though they are not part of the car!
