That looks like a very proffesional install, i've just bought a carputer with 7" touch screen, do you have any more pics of it?

Cheers Stu, but the ones in the centre pic are my UK ones and has a large connector, so i don't know if these have been changed by the previous owner.

I've checked the numbers on mine and both sets match, i know the ones with the larger plug are uk as they are from my breaker but unsure of the other set.

I have 2 pairs of mirrors for the Z but the plugs are different and 2 have an H on them and 2 have an E. Does the H stand for Heated (uk spec) and the E for Electric (jap folding). I'm probably wrong but i'm sure some one with a big brain will let me know. :rofl: Thanks in advance.

Just had a nice guy (Rae) come over for some parts off me, he's an Aussie living in Cuper, i gave him the club website and he says he's going to join when he gets home as he is a member of the Australian Z club but looking for help/advice closer to home. He has a black TT and an N/A and is looking for a few parts namely autobox for his N/A and a tailgate with wiper motor. He also likes to keep everything origional ;) I'm sure we'll all make him welcome when he makes himself known.

Ah the good old days when we used to get a proper bit of snow......... i don't miss the driving sideways in my old 535 Sport lol, that was a horrible car in the snow, had to put it in full lock and gun it to get up hills as it wouldn't go up in a straight line. Hats off for trying to get the engine out in that though!!!

Theres a place in Carnwath (Scotland) who can repair any wheels, they have some pics on their website showing before and after pics some of them i would have thought scrap. I'll try and find the link.

I'm sure the MAF is 90mm so i think it will be too big unless you use an adapter.

If i was buying a car, wether it be from a member or not i'd want to see receipts for work done and be prepared to get my hands dirty and give the car a good going over, theres no point buying a car from someone you don't know then blaming them for something that go's wrong. I've been a member on here for less than a year and with the amount of times i've read that a timing belt has snapped i would at least be taking a cover off to check the condition of the belt before parting with my cash then blaming someone else, if the seller isn't happy for you to do small things like this then walk away.

I'll do your decorating and you can do my engine lol. :wack: I'd like to know what was wrong with the engine i have in bits. I'll probably strip the heads down and get them pressure tested and see where i go from there, will keep you posted.

Just wanted to say thanks to bigmincey, flikz and john300zx for coming round and giving me a hand to unload the engine. Good to catch up again and nice to meet John, your a gent. When are you going to install it now? :duffer:
