How much weight would you save by removing the window motors and glass and fitting the safe glass? Also save a bit of weight with the uk seat belts. (from the doors anyway lol)

What is "speed glass", is that not easy to break glass or do the windows still go up and down? I'm only asking as would this pass an MOT?

I would have thought the standard doors were 70-80kg the pair. I have 2 spare doors in the back of my breaker and have to lift them out every time i need to get in to remove bits, there not that heavy, my wife even picked them up from petrolhead lol.

If the missing is intermitant between different coils it could be the PTU, might be worth borrowing a known good transister unit from someone.

I was thinking along the same lines, but not that the injector is jammed open but that no spark resulting in the expelled fuel combusting in the exhaust causing the pop. You could always place a long flat bladed screwdriver/or stephoscope (if you have one) on each injector and listen at the end of the driver for the clicking.

Might be worth removing the plugs and checking their condition also just to eliminate this, is it firing on all 6?

Have you checked your air filter/maf, it might not be breathing properly.

My daughter knocked my laptop over last year, the way it fell it must have damaged the power supply pin, i just phoned the home insurance, they sent a courier to pick it up to be repaired, the repair company said it was fecked so i got a new laptop through the insurance and i asked them for the hard drive from my old one and they sent the full pc back.

I have 2 facias ones a single the others a double din but it has the sticky out bits in the middle (you can see the bits i mean in the pic nickz32 posted, either side of the screen in the middle). I wouldn't go that far, i meant there is nothing that they "can" do. My mate works in Afghanistan and asked me to sell his MGTF (2 YEARS AGO) i sold it to a Nigerian scammer (this type of thing was fairly new then) i received a bankers draught for £15000 i took it to the Bank of Scotland (East Kilbride) was told it would take 5 days to clear so left it with them and returned after 5 days picked up the £15000, i then went to Lunn Polly to do a western union transfer of 2 grand for the "shipping" fee's. It was the guy in Lunn Polly who realised it was a scam and said i would not get the money, he was even more surprised when i showed him the 15 grand, even so on his advice i went to the cops, told them the story and put the 15 grand on the desk, they just looked at me and said "what do you want us to do" as no crime had been commited according to them. I then took the money back to the bank and they said everything was above board, i had to open an account with them to place the money in as they said it was mine as the bankers draught had cleared. Three weeks later the bank called to confirm what i had told them and the bankers draughts were fake. I even had the Nigerian calling me asking for his money, when i told him the police had it he hung up and never called again.

The thing with this type of thing, if you go to the cops they just look blankly at you and say there's nothing they can do.

Hi Rae its Steve, mine was stuck in park on Saturday, i had to turn the ignition while pressing the brake to get it into neutral. It might be worth a try. (ps passed your number onto the guy with the tailgate, he's a member on here)
