I used to think it was a scam too, when you are in an accident/shunt sometimes you don't realise you've been injured because the adrenalin is pumping, its only later when you've calmed down does the pain hit you.

If you had any pics you could post them on you tube, if he's swindled you theres a good chance its not the first time he's done it. Someone might stick him in lol.

Most trade insurers will insure you as a part time trader working from home, there not really interested in what you do, we just said we done valeting. We ended up going with Roadrunner as they were cheapest but you have to have a business address different from your home address with them.

We had £8000 cover at first but when my mate bought his new Warrior we increased it to the £15000, i couldn't believe it when they told us it was only an extra £40 total.

I had trade insurance with Roadruner, their age limit was 21, myself, wife, my mate and his wife were all on the policy, any car with a value up to £15000. It only cost us £45 each a month but we did had to pay a £500 deposit that is returned when you cancel the policy. At the time we had a Renault Clio, Mitsubishi Warrior Sport, Nissan Primera (p12), BMW 535 SPORT, MGTF and a BMW 520. These were all our own cars as we were never in the trade but we never had any problems with the insurance, we had our own address down as "home address" and my mates address as the "business address" as you couldn't have a work from home business with Roadrunner.

The survival company Ray Mears set up teaches survival skills to the millitary, some people have said Mears is ex SAS but he was never in the millitary as he failed his medical for the Royal Marines on something like colour blindness. While filming in Mongolia he took on and beat their wrestling champ so he's not just a podgy know it all lol.

I watched an episode of Ray Mears where he built a canoe and then went through the Canadian wilderness, there was a bit when he got to some rough rapids so had to carry the canoe round to the calmer waters but when he tried to lower the canoe it was stuck on his head and he nearly broke his neck. The Bear Grylls stuff while entertaining is too choreographed. All in my opinion of course.

Totally agree, when its on i watch it the end but that doesn't stop me saying to the wife "come here and watch this idiot" lol. I would love to go on one of those survival courses, Ray Mears runs them up in the Highlands and also in Sweeden but they cost a fortune. I just be happy to be able to leave the house just now without a panic attack lol. :slap:

I just bought a complete set of locks with Titanium key, ironic as i just sold a set with key just over a month ago lol.

UK spec had Titanium Keys.

How does that work if they are both cut from the same key? Only asking as my old Z the titanium key worked everything except the boot but i assumed it was because it had seized, my new Z only had an after market key but i bought genuine nissan black/red keys but have yet to have them cut.

Are you sure the ones you have bought are jap folding ones as my UK ones have the large block connector.

Yeah, instead of wiring direct from the battery take the power out from the side lights power out to the relay, just thought the wiring diagram was easy to follow but your right about the supply.

I have a big ugly green switch on the centre consol but i'll be fecked if i can find out what its for lol. I'll probably have to remove the centre and trace it to the source.

Just checked the Richbrook site, seems to engine start and cut off switches. I remember seeing one, i think was in Daves Zed's write up on rear fog lights.
