Is there anything better?
Maybeeee, but I like these, and I need some new ones after some tinker stole my BLACK PLASTIC ones last week :xxx: Quite like the stuff on here (posted before I know) http://www.350zaccessories.co.uk/z_life.html esp the lighter (but I'll have to take up smoking), it's not overly branded like those Subaru jackets people wear, even if they are driving a Saxo (or Corsa or other tinbox granny transport). Off for the oil change! Nice RS 10-60.

Is there anything better?
Following the thread which discussed "don't post when u r pissed" I'd just like to say that I've just returned back from a night on the town in Exeter , and saw on my drive... a 300zx! Can ther be any better return home than that. All red and shiny. Will treat it to a oil change and 350Z valve caps tomorrow. Here's a pic from last Sunday after a "Zymol"

J Spec Wheels - UK Spec tyres!
Went to tyre depot today for 4x eagle F1's. Bloke says, why have you got 245's on the rear? I said UK spec's have got 245's. He measured my wheels, and they were all 6.5 width! OK for 225's. When I bought the car, chap had 245's on them. The wheels are BBS 16 inch, with Nissan stamped on them. Must be off some Jpec from somewhere, never seen another Zed with them on. Reckon I was at risk with them coming off or anything? Ah well, putting the UK specs back on tomorrow. Anyone want a set of J Spec BBS 16 inch alloy whells (one rear has slight buckle) for postage and a pickled egg?

Simple headlight problem?
Not the relays! Just got them tested at Lucas and OK. Off to check the switch now. Any other ideas! Off to France in the Zed tonight and am a bit worried about not having proper headlights :-/

What's that then Ted?
:D Thanks Dave! Very kind of you to do that. If I have any trouble plugging it in I'll let you know!! :nelson: No Dougal! These cows are small, those are far away.

What's that then Ted?
Bugg*r me! I think you're right! What's that do then? mode>

What's that then Ted?
The white connector on the photo. It's at the rear LHS of the engine bay. It's not plugged in and very dirty so maybe not been plugged in for a long time. Is it the super-boost Evo-demolishing circuit? Or the connector that stops the irritating final wipe of the windscreen wipers when you turn therm off? Maybe it's the connector that will get my F***ing headlights working?
-
Simple headlight problem?
It's OK - you can insult my intelligence when it comes to knowing about Zed electricals! I have measured the volatge across the pins and there isn't any when there should be. I've also gone back to the connector before the bulb and nothing there either. The wierd thing is I get a very weak voltage through it, enough to give the bulb a faint glow when I put my lights on full beam.

Simple headlight problem?
Nice one - glad it was simple for you. I replaced both my 15A ones yesterday - even though they looked OK. Didn't work :-( Going to try the relays next.

Simple headlight problem?
This is EXACTLY the problem I have at the moment. Checked all fuses - seems OK. If you find the solution, write it up please!

anyone fancy a pint? Not a pint of the black stuff obviously.

OOOOK, I take it all back, it's really fine to use that word, in fact I think I'll use it tonight while out on the town. I do apologise for putting my opinions forward, maybe the word didn't originate or was used for the purposes I thought, so IT'S ALL OK!! Well that is nice. With so many people on the forum obviously in favour of using it, seeing from the replies I got and recalling in the past discussions abount being people pro BNP and anti immigration and spouting sh*te, it's a wonder you don't wear white hoods at events and burn crosses. STICK A*SE IT UP YOUR GO AND IT (rearrange) (and only directed at people I'm miffed at, not the whole forum :nelson:) Yours respecfully, SWH

Come on Pete, there's a distinction between going to a bar and saying "look at that N***** over there!" and "black guy".

So if I came up to your friends and called them it, they wouldn't mind? Even in good humour? The tone in which Big Ron said the remark was not in good humour so was intended as an insult. It'd be nice to call anyone anything I like and they wouldn't be offended but that doesn't happen. Yep in an ideal world that word would mean nothing offensive and be part of the language, but it isn't at the moment. I don't think this is a PC issue or race card issue, it's not good not to call someone something that is generally considered extremely offensive. Maybe you can call some old people you know doddery old incontinent coffin dodgers and they wouldn't be bothered, but to most it would be offensive. Lets face it, some people in football crowds aren't that bright (offensive sweeping statement there), went to a home game at the start of the season, and we had a new Islamic player. He was booed every time he touched the ball. What Ron did played to that minority and it was right he should have resigned. I am against quotas for ethnic minorites at work and politics. We have corperate graphics here at work which are supposed to represent us, there's not a white person there, well there is, but he as at the back and gay. I'm no left wing wet, peace and love hippy, but can see that using that word to refer to a black person is not on, unless you have exceptional circumstances, like you obviously do Roy. Cheers, Matt.

Anyone who thinks calling a black person that word, or even using it in everyday conversation shows a total lack of knowlede about where it comes from and what it means to a black person, and is plainly racist or very stupid. When have we white fellers, as a race ever, had it really BAD or been enslaved, apart from by our wives or girlfriends. Bloody daily mail readers, we'll be on about immigration next.

Zed off the Road How do you cope?
Yep, I suppose at least if I get it, it will guarantee it WON'T break down. Still 70 quid or something though.

Zed off the Road How do you cope?
Just got the Zed back! Not properly fixed, still need a pinion flange on my diff, but am on a driving holiday next week in France, in the Zed, so had to get it back. May opt for european breakdown cover! Now all I need is for it to stop BLOODY RAINING!!!

I'm Pleased But Not Happy......Insurance
Ouch! You must really love your Zed to pay that! Or you have loads of money. You must have 0 years NCB and 11.99999 points.

I'm Pleased But Not Happy......Insurance
I'm with Firebond as well, pay 350 quid a year for 6K miles per year, but any more mileage than that and it went WAY up. Perhaps this is the major difference this year for you Matty? Matt.

Up North
Nahh, you could tell by the Pork Pies on the back shelf and Whippit in the passenger seat that they were northerners.
-
Up North
Maybe I was just unlucky, but about north of the M50 junction on the M5, people were REALLY crap. Miles of inside lane, just not used! Pull out without signalling, pulling in 2 feet in front of you after overtaking (I was in the Rover so I'm allowed to be overtaken).
-
Up North
Had a trip up to Bolton on the weekend. Can I just say 2 things to you Northerners. 1) Get out of the middle lane. 2) Signal. Cheers :D
