GD Manifolds, JWT530bb tubs and Nismo 555's
Thought I'd put some piccies up as well. New Clutch and flywheel fitted. Gear box fitted and connected up to the 1 piece carbon driveshaft. Exhausts needed modification to sit right, so a few inches needed to be removed to get the length and the correct angle for the Greg Dupree downpipes. Fitted to check cleances and balance. Removed and flexi pipes installed (reccommended to reduce chance of manifold cracking). Surface rust cleaned off and coated with rust treatment coat. The End is near !!!! Still to do, reassemble rad and twin pop, PAS & A/C connection and fill, engine wiring, testing & tuning.

Damn Densist
NHS dentist have to do at least 20 fillings a day toget paid. It's all worked out by some sort of points system. If they don't hit the target they don't get paid full whack. It's worth going private for a check up and then going NHS to get the work done that Private say you need. Or just take a flight to Eastern Europe for a few days. A whole set of Porcelain teeth over there is about £3k. Here you are looking at least 4 or 5 times that. Give it another 10 years and I'll probably get all mine done. Don't need anything done yet touch wood, went to the dentist in Jan and just had to have one small filling at the back.

450Hp-dual intake needed?
Back to the original question. The Doolz is a pretty popular dual intake. You can run this many ways: With a double MAF linked up to a different engine management system that allowed readings from 2 seperate MAF's With a single MAF, chip then needs to be mapped to double the readings. With a single MAF, chip stays the same but you can use a AFC to tune the engine to allow for the additional air. In some cases idle may be a little lumpy, but in most you can avoid this by making a front balance bar. It does the same as your rear balance bar (the one on the back of the plenumn), but it used to connect the two boost hoses before they reach the throttle bodies, this will equal out the pressure going into the cylinders so each side of the engine will recieve an equal pressure.

Got It Back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Probably works out cheaper as well then. I'm sure you'd spend more on petrol that you would on a ferry :)

Well I've been planning to go visit Eric in Holland for some time, but still planning just gotta get the car back first. I think I mailed you (Eric) almost 3 years ago now about custom mapping my car once it's built, well it's still not built yet lol. Engines back in now so hopefully won't be long :).

pics of your next realistic car.
If I was going to get rid of the 300zx and get another toy I've always wanted a '67 mustang fastback. It's so totally different from the 300zx in everyway but just always wanted one.

Look what turned up...
Did you take the stereo out as well or just the small guitar ?
-
anyone any idea ?
Looks like a ford Mustang to me. Obviously the guy who designed that body kit had a lot of imagination and it was intended to be one of the best looking conversions around. Unfortunately the guy that built it for him only had very large sheets of plastic and his saw wasn't working too good. Plus the fact that the plastic didn't bend too easy so he couldn't round anything off.

wesico forged pistons.
I have 88mm weisco pistons in mine. Had to get the block bored but to be honest I was going to have to do that anyway as part of the turbine scratched the cylinder number 4 when I blew my turbo. Mark when you say that you need a really good engineer to match each piston to the cylinders are you saying the each of the pistons are not going to be exactly the same even though they come from the exact same cast ?. This worries me a little because I went to a well reccommended engineering shop that only deals with engine rebuilds from Race cars and they didn't mark the pistons to tell me what piston number each one is. If what you say is true, am I likely to experience problems with compression because I have no idea what piston should go in what cylinder ? :(

That's the same one I bought my wife. 1 carat diamond and a smaller diamond in the O of Foverever on the inside. Cost me £5k at the time but this was over a year ago.

Car trouble need advice
You need to clean the sensors. TPS, Temp, PTU etc etc. clean all the sensor and then check to see if it's still high revving, give the throttle bodies a clean as well. PCV valves may need changing, which should help the engine breathe and stop it smoking. Worst case senario may be an oil feed pipe on the turbo or the turbo seals themselves (i.e. gaskets).
