Rear Seat Removal?
No, If you can't see any brackets then you don't have any. It's just clips holding it in. Take a leap of faith and give it a good old tug :) Trust us, we're professionals. Disclaimer: I'm not responsible if it breaks :)

psi
Common places to check for boost leaks are the pipes that connects under each throttle body. Also with engine running at idle has a listen around for hissing. It that much of a boost leak you should be able to hear it without a leak detector (unless you have multiple leaks). If've you've been driving on 4.5 psi for a while, you are in for a creaming session when you get your boost back to 9.5 psi :). The difference you will feel with the pull is a lot from 6 psi.

Rear Seat Removal?
Mine has two little brackets with a screw in each. Maybe this is an addition that someone before me put on there, looks pretty standard though. If you can't find the screws and brackets which it appears you may not have, just yank it up and it will unclip.

Rear Seat Removal?
Back seat (back) fold it foward and undo the 4 bolts (2 either side) then it slips forward. Back seat (seat) two screws (1 each side) under the front center of each seat hole. It's still held in by clips. grab the seat each side and give it a quick sharp jerk upwards and it will unclip itself.

Anyone in S Wales changed a clutch before??
If you are already slipping as far down as 3rd gear, it may be worth chekcing with local engineering shops, if they can skim the flywheel for you. That way when you put your new clutch on you'll have a nice flat flywheel to meet it up against.

Rear turbo seals gone?
To do the PCV valves you will need a pair of long needle nose pliars. The hardest bit about them is the clips are very hard to get to especially at the back. New valves and pipes can be ordered via traders on this site and shouldn't take took long to fit. I would suggest getting as much out of the way first before attempting to take the old pipes off. With the current exchange rate you could get them from Z1 motor sports for silly cheap money or Mike Feeny or DTA (Danny Zatt). Guide to fitting can be found here http://www.ttzd.com/tech/pcvtech.html

Can anyone convert AVI to GIF?
I can convert AVI to: DVD MP4 3GP MPEG MOV WMV RM SWF But not GIF I'm affraid. How longs the movie ?. Could you not use something like Windows media player to grab frames then link them up using Jasc Animation shop 3 ? Unless you can get hold of a video compressor then you can open them directly in Animation shop 3. P.S. Animation Shop 3 is what I used to make the music man vid ;). You can put loads of photo's together (ones you have cruely edited) then link them up as a gif file or movie file.

Tea vs Dinner vs Supper Debate!!
You lot are mental. If you think Dinner should be eaten at midday then fir enough but I would imagine Dinner is a hot meal consisting of meat and vegetables. Down in the south we have that kind of meal in the evening and something like a light salad/ pasta or sandwich at midday, which we call lunch. how I see it.... Breakfast Lunch Dinner Supper and Tea don't even come into it, it's only old people that call them that, sorry if I offended any old farts or young people with old fashion traditions :) Anyway turns out we are all kinda right. Dinner –noun 1. the main meal of the day, eaten in the evening or at midday. 2. a formal meal in honor of some person or occasion. Supper –noun 1. the evening meal, often the principal meal of the day. 2. any light evening meal, esp. one taken late in the evening: an after-the-theater supper. –adjective 3. of or pertaining to supper: the supper dishes. 4. for, during, or including supper: a supper party. Tea –noun 1. the dried and prepared leaves of a shrub, Camellia sinensis, from which a somewhat bitter, aromatic beverage is prepared by infusion in hot water. 2. the shrub itself, extensively cultivated in China, Japan, India, etc., and having fragrant white flowers. Compare tea family. 3. the beverage so prepared, served hot or iced. 4. any kind of leaves, flowers, etc., so used, or any plant yielding them. 5. any of various infusions prepared from the leaves, flowers, etc., of other plants, and used as beverages or medicines. 6. beef bouillon. 7. British. any meal, whether a light snack or one consisting of several courses, eaten in the late afternoon or in the evening; any meal other than dinner, eaten after the middle of the afternoon. 8. an afternoon reception at which tea is served.

The funny thing is, it's actually 2 x RSJ's bolted together (thickness wise not length). Apparently because of the length you need either a double width one or two single widths bolted together at 1.5 meter intervals. Building standard is way over kill on almost everything they print. Not like the old days. My mates old man build a garage back in the 50's out of scraps, it's still standing strong today !.

Rather than wire coat hanger, cable ties are easier and cheaper ;). It's all about the padding when it comes to getting the stiching lined up.

I'm kinda adictided to Forza2 at the moment. Either that or Condemmed 2. Either way I'm busy building the extention so won't be on a great deal until it's done, but keep me added, I will be there eventually :)

Twin turbo into NA Convertible ?
If you really want a convertable 300zx then you will be looking at a SWB (short Wheel Base) NA (not turbo). Most of the TT (Twin Turbo's) are targa's so you kinda get a semi convertable anyway. You can get either the 2+0 (SWB) or the 2+2 (LWB) with Targa's and you can get the SWB with a slick top (i.e. no targa's). Depending on your needs, you could find a convertible and get a TT engine put in it. Or you could just buy a TT targa top 2+0 or 2+2.

And a monster BBQ it will be..... Plans for once the extension is complete is decking over the paved area you can see and a monster Brick built BBQ with Deck cladding on it (aprt from where it gets hot) on the left hand side (as you look at the back of the house). Hopefully I'll get most of it done for the August Bank holiday (well I'll make sure I have a BBQ and decking built anyway lol).

This week I have been mostly......
.....Building. It's been a long time coming and the back lean too was just not livable anymore. With the rainly season on us and leaks from the roof, window's, side walls etc, I decided to don the hard hat and start giving it large. Checked with citizens advice to see if I needed planning permission. I was told the following: Has the current structure on the back of the house been there more that 3 years..... YES Is the current structure within 3 Meters form the original house walls.... YES 2.95 to be exact :) Will you be changing the existing walls of the structure that will require a new foundation..... NO So, planning permission wasn't needed but I still need to get all the work inspected by the local council to make sure it meets all parts of the building regs. Not sure whether to get them in every few weeks or wait till I've finished, because I know they will want to inspect all aspects of it from structure, electrics, plumbing, insulation, fire hazards. I've been reading all parts from A to P of the building standards and I think I have almost everything covered. If you see anything that you think I haven't covered please let me know and I'll make sure I address it before getting building control onsite. A few pictures of the progresss so far. Still so much to do before even the outside is finished. First the back of the house after the new roof & windows were fitted. Sky came and install the dish and boxes, they are not allowed to put cables through the loft so it's there procedure to just throw them over the roof. Too messy for me so once they had gone I rewired it all and put the cables through the loft. Gave the back a bit of a touch up and a coat of paint. As you can see the lean too had more than seen it's day. Single glass, rotten wood and a very old leaky felt roof which has been touched up more times than a retired stripper. I gutted the internals, including ripping the floor up, takes down any fixtures that hadn't already fallen down and stripping out he false ceiling. After a lot of demolition work, but still keeping the side walls to comply with advice from Citizens advice. the supports were built and the RSJ's went on. The roof beams and additional brickwork then kicked in and the roof was felted, batterned and tiled with two skylights. Wife wants the small one changed now to the same size as the other one so I'll do that later when I get a chance. I'll post up more pics as I progress. Any comments welcome.

Now starts the rebuild
Nice, Remember to blow your IC's rad and especially the induction through before you try to start her up. So many people have had problems after resprays and body mods due to the due that gets stuck in the induction and the MAF sensors.
