I know it's old but... The blitz sbc-id has a program range. So you can set a number of channels up. IIRC I had channel 1 set at 10 psi, channel 2 at 14psi and channel 3 at 16psi. Channels can be changed at the push of a button, rather than a push of a sequence of buttons.

I think 2003 was the last time Wazza was on here. 2002 for Craig, and 2001 for nico with a guest apperance around 2004 again. Timmy T held on for a little longer at 2004.

You can keep the cats which ever tubs / downpipes you get. Just not sure why you would want to, unless you have emissions issues were you are ?

I fancy some american muscle. If I can get one I'll got for the GT500KR (but only 1000 have been made currently - pictured below). 2nd choice will be a Shelby super Snake (looks almost idential). Other than that it's a shelby GT500. Don't really want a standard Mustang, so it's one of the above or nothing. I've always liked the old 67 shelby's but now the new models are out I'm hooked on them.

Most 4 bolt turbo's are stock turbo's made by a different company. 5 bolt turbo's are upgrades on stock. In summary the difference is: 500 - Stock boost, stock spool up 530 - more boost, stock spool up. the number Jim Wolfe uses represents the expected horse power the turbo's are capable of handling. so 500's = 500hp and 530's = 530 hp. But there are two things to remember. This is expected horse power at the crank not the Rear wheels, and this is American HP figures, which most of the time are a lot higher than UK hp figures. It's like a currency conversion thing, $2 = £1 or 500hp (US) = 400 hp (UK) However the secret to quicker spool up is in the down pipes and manifolds.

I'm thinking that once I get the Z back I'll probably keep it for a year or so and then sell it and put some money towards my other realistic dream car. Anyone know anything about importing cars from the US so I can prepare ?

Rather than buying mods to suit your chip, it's worth taking some time to ask yourself what you want out of your car. Then you need to ask yourself what your budget is to achieve it. Here in the UK the BHP figures seem to be much lower than the US BHP figures even with idential mods. So I'm not sure what this is down to. I can only assume thier dyno's and our dyno's are different in some way. People on this site can give you advice as to what has been tried and tested here and to what we have foudn to be an effective set up, but personally I wouldn't buy a chip until you know what you want. If you already have an induction and an after martket exhaust then a chipped ECU may be your next move. However if you are thinking of bigger injectors, turbo's, forged pistons etc, then it may be worth trying to find an experienced mapper, someone that has had experience with the 300zx and get them to custom map a chip for your set up.

Looking very smooth indeed ALZ. I've always thought about the thought of a widearse on mine but never really found a rear bumper that I think would suit it so never had it converted.
