Also If you need to convert any files to another file type then AVS convertor is the best I've used.

I'd get your neck scanned mate, you may have done a little more damage than just whiplash. Whiplash only lasts a few weeks while the muscles in the neck repair themselves. If you have a slipped disc in you cervicle vertibrae or even a trapped nerve somewhere, this is more than likely to cause the headaches.

Actators?
If you only have stock turbo's then you will only need stock actuators. Running 16psi on standard injectors will not really do you much good. I think we worked out a few years ago between us all that the best benifit from stock turbo's and injectors is 14.6 psi. Anything more than that you will be maxing out the injectors.

You have to remember Andy had an operation a while back to make his hads smaller for two reasons. One of them was so he could work on Z engines more effectively.

Is Martyn / Zen Garage Lincs still operating?
2 years now for the folowing: Build up the engine from the block. Fit new pistons (block already bored to fit) Fit new injectors Fit new manifolds Fit new downpipes Fit flexi pipes Fit new turbo's Put the engine back together Fit new flywheel and clutch Fit one piece driveshaft. However had a few small set backs and the folowing has also been done so far: Engine and block modifications to get the turbo's and manifolds to sit correctly. Complete rebuild of heads and reseat of all valves. Lifters reconned and replaced where required. New seals for injectors Fitted new upper link arms Discs skimmed But in a nut shell the work on my engine only started at the start of January.

Is Martyn / Zen Garage Lincs still operating?
He's still working but not curently taking on any new work until he clears the back log of 300's he currently has. He was in two minds whether to keep doing 300's or drop them completely. However when I speak to him next I will ask if he has decided to continue. It's looking like he won;t have any time until maybe late march at the moment as he still has to finish off mine and 2 other members cars first.

Pregnancy Tests...
Put it this way there is much more chance of it being inaccurate when it's negative. If it is positive them it's pretty dam accurate. My wife took a pregnancy test and it came up negative however a couple of weeks later it was positive.

He also recommended fitting GD flexi pipes in the exhaust to prevent any additional strain on them (along with the GD Downpipes). Which is the reason I have all three GD Manifolds, downpipes and flexi pipes.

It's not been with him 3 years. It's been off the road for 3 years, but the first 6 months of that was me taking out the engine and getting it rebored and balanced etc etc. Then the next 6 months was finding I didn't have the time to put it back together so I was looking for someone who could. The engine in parts was delivered to him in Feb 2006. Car was delivered to him in March 2007.

There is no such thing as a realistic timeline from Martyn. He's given me one, but already missed that by 3 weeks LOL. But at least he is using the time to do things right, so I'm happy to wait a few more weeks over the timeline for the car to be 110%.

Have you checked the injectors are all firing befor eyou strip them out ?. With the ignition on but engine not running rotate the CAS and listen for the clicks on each injector

IF you are going to change your ptu for any reason I would strongly suggest upgrading to a series 2 ptu. Both Series 1 and 2 ptu's can be used on any model 300zx whether NA, TT, LWB, SWB, Import, UK, USA, AUS etc etc.

Either hydrolic lifters or it could just be that the oil had drained off them as it's been sitting a while. Check the oil level and keep an ear out for it to return. If it does return and the car has been sitting for only a few days then it's likely you need to change the oil as the oil you have in there may be too thin. What oil are you using at the moment ?

Brake Upgrade
R33 Brembo brake upgrade is a common upgrade for the 300zx. However you may want to get your calipers checked. It's very common to have a sticky pot at this age so you can recon them and get them resealed for improvement without upgrading. Also think about braided hose lines as well.

Hydrolic lifters have now had a very nice recon job on them. Most were pitted and overall all were in quite bad condition. 7 needed to be replaced with 2nd hand reconditioned ones as they were too badly scored or pitted, the other 17 were given a good going over. A picture of before during and after. And another of all of them reconditioned and sitting in very hot oil which when it cools explells any excess air from the lifters. I have to say, although I've waited a very long time, the mechanic seems to be doing a very detaild job to make sure the car is in tip top condition when I get it back. I guess to wait a few more extra weeks for that level of detail is not such a bad thing.
