Under the armrest there is a plate that screws onto the underside. You can just remove this, pull the leather around it. Duck tape the underside to hold it in place. Then make holes where the screws will need to go to fit the underplate back on. Then screw it back in place. Best way to make the holes is with a soldering iron -- ooh the smell of burning flesh - love it !!!. By burning the holes you will also prevent spliiting and fraying a little more as well. erm don't use solder though, no need for that ;)

Yup I would tend to agree. If you want to do it properly strip it all off and foam it up. I'll be foaming mine some more when I get the car back.

They are designed to fit straight over the coth seats. If you have leather and remove the leather first they may be a little saggy. I haven;t had time to finish the write up on the seats that I put in FaQ, but there is already a finished one. I'll post that link instead in the FaQ.

TBH you'll probably get enough money breaking and selling the parts to buy another one anyway. Just make sure you get a good one this time ;)

All bolt holes in the greddy SMIC's must be pluged with bolts, whether you are using the holes as mounts or not. Failure to plug all holes will result in a boost leak as the holes are drilled all the way to the internals of the SMIC.

If you have a hissing and no boost gauge it's probably the vaccum pipe that runs off the back right of the balance bar. This connects to the boost gauge. Check the pipe and replace if necessary and hopefully you cure both problems at once.

When you say finish do you mean finish as in 100% complete ?. I finished Assains Creed but didn't get all the flaggs so not sure what happens at the end when you unlock the whole memory. Let me know if you do finish it 100%

From experience (mostly bad) Keeping to timescales and deadlines is a must. Keeping to the initial quote. Communication on a regular basis about progress and if it's gone passed the deadline then communication everyday. I know it's asking a lot but it means so much more to the customer.

Nice one, do you have any references, or people's cars you have worked on before to reccomend you ?. I need to find a good mechanic, but I've had my fingers burned a few times and need someone reliable, good with communications and can get the job done within the timescales agreed. Thanks

Personally your car has quite an agressive look, so I'm not sure either would suit it as they are both quite calm so to speak.

Added myself to the list although it will be a couple of months until I can get mine fixed.

SMW1 - Consult - Romford Essex. Got to get mine fixed first, been in contact with DTA about it but since the car is off the road I haven't had anything to try it on to resolve the connection issues.
