you should have kept the shaving foam hair do on that way you would have just slid off the lamp post.

I just read your other post and saw the pics, it said there that they took it away for a review, did they bring it back ?. If they took it away usually if it's a write off it's being crushed as they are calling you to let you know. :(. I relaly hope this isn't the case as it looks like with a new front wing, passenger door and rear quarter you shuold be as good as new. It doesn;t look like they hit any major structures of the car, i.e. pillar etc so I would have though t it was a fairly cheap repair leaving you with enough money left fomr the insurance to buy some mods :)

What was the damage ?. Many people don't want to drive the car again after a write off, but I guess it depends on what the damage was ?. Do you have any pics of what was damaged ?. Also you will probably make more money from the car if you sell it as parts rather than repair it and sell it as whole. If you did break it, would you buy another one ?. OR try something else?. If youa re thinking of another if may be worth buying that first and seeing if you want to swap anything over before selling the parts off.

Jst posting this to compare the 2 front bumpers dts' car Bigel's car, hope you don't mind. This is the closest I could find to that bumper, but this looks like a rounded and smoothed in version which has also been delined.

Wans't there a trick with pulling a vaccum pipe off the plenum to allow lower emmissions ?. I can't remember the exact details, it may have even been a hoax.

I didn;t think cars this old had to have an emissions test ?

I've played Eve-online for 4 years now, but I've decided to sell up now, with the baby and wife I don't really get to spend as much time as it needs, my character has just over 62 mil skill points at the moment. Also tried WOW for about 7 months while I was on a break from eve-online. Main character was a lvl 67 paladin. Can't remember the name of the realm I was on though.

Just out of interest bornrebel, what area are you in ?. It's always useful to put that in your profile as some you may have some people very close to you that will be more than willing to lend a hand if you fancy doing some stuff yourself. There's nothing more reassuring that doing the job yourself, but sometimes confidence and inexperience requires someone else who knows what they are doing to be there. It's also a good way to get to know the other members of the forum. I know I've worked with many people on here whether it's on my car or their car, I have done all the work on my car myself apart from the body work and the most recent engine build, If I did it alone I wouldn;t have a clue, but we all learn from each other and in the end you end up knowing a great deal about 300zx's and are able to help others in return for the knowledge you have gained through them.

I guess 1/4 miles are the best way to see who has the quickest car. I've done a 13.5 on stock turbo's/injectors with normal tyres on the rear, hping to drop that a fair bit once the cars finished. What down pipes and manifolds do you have them fitted with MArk ?

I'm not sure what castings the 530's are based on. All I know is that when I ordered them 3 years ago the disco's weren't out, so my build was based around these, hense only the 555 nismo's and the downpipes and manifold for reduced lag, with this set up I should get next to no lag (or so I hope).

Yup so if you find that for some strange reason your car stalls and doens't start again until it's cooled down, you may as well buy yourself a series II PTU. As the solder joints get hot in the series I, the connections lift off the surface causing a break in the connection to one or more of the coil packs.
