Hesitation
I think with the problem being at a certian rev range and not lumpy at idle the injector and coil pack connects may be ruled out. MAF is a good contender to the problem as this will sometimes cause an issue as the turbo's start to spool requiring more air. Does it do it only once warmed up ? If so check your O2 sesnsors as my money is on one of these giving up the ghost.

10/40 magnatec for me, even with a modded engine.

At least you are seeing Z's :(

White Smoke - bad
To be honest if the seals are gone / going on the turbo's, it's not long before the spindle will start to come loose. When it comes loose, the blades will start making contact with the inner housing walls. Little metal shards then get pushed around your engine, they eventually get into your cylinders. Most of them will be melted down but some of the bigger pieces may find a lovely home between your piston rings, where they will have lots of fun scratching up your cylinder walls. you will then start to drop on compression on the effective cylinders. Before you know it you'll not only need to replace the turbo's but you will also be looking at either a new block or a bore and fitting bigger forged pistons. So my advice would be don't drive it. Ps. Forgot to add, above I just told you what happened to my car back at Billing 04.

Who'd be interested in a Surrey Rolling Road dyno day?
Mark, I'm hoping to get there nice and early on Saturday, so if some people that are working nights or can't get there till later need my slot I'll be more than happy to jump on earlier. We'll play it by ear. Would like to quickly run a conzult on my car before the dyno though ;)

blockins re-circs off, think i dun correct?
I can appriciate that, the noise does sound allot better than a dump valve, however I'm not much of a pigeon lover, I love my turbo's more :)

Swoosh gauges
It only goes up to 1.5 bar which is about 21 psi, so it's only really good for stock turbo's or after market tubs not running as much boost. I had very similar gauges to this before but to be honest I got rid of them as they were a little too bright during the night. My current gauges have an extra feed on them you wire to the lights. Once you switch the lights on the gauges dim. If these gauges have this option then I think they will be quite nice, If not they can be very distracting. As mentioned above tripple double and single A pilar replacement pods are avilable form the Z center. 52mm is the ideal size you want.

He must be a strong lad if he's gonna pull the car all the way there. Why not find another friend who has a car that you can tie the rope to :)

What is happening to our club ?
Although that may be true. There is an unwritten law were as if you are only register and keep asking questions etc it's only so long before the experts stop answering. If you are subscribed I feel the help you recieve is much more than that of a register member. Maybe that's just my gut instinct, but if I see the same person constantly asking with a post count of 210 and still a registered member, sometimes I'm a little hesitant or will just answer in less detail.

Engine bay
What part is that or it is top secrect squirrel stuff ?

Engine bay
If I'm honest Vinz and I don't want to upset you but. I actuallly prefer Smithys engine bay. Your engine bay has obviously got 10 times more bling in it, and you've obviously spent so much time on it, but it's just all the stickers. I think it would be much more classy without them, but that's just my opinion and my engine bay sucks compared to both yours and smithys :).

Boost help
Can't really help as I don't know enough about that particular controller. Free bump though. Hope you get it sorted.

blockins re-circs off, think i dun correct?
Yeah I'm going to have to do that. I'll have a few hours to spare on Saturday while I wait for my turn on the dyno so I'll take my tool kit with me :). Never seem to get time these days to tinker on the car now that my daughter takes up most of my time.

Nissan Key Fob
Hi Mate, Welcome to the club. It's very rare to see a first post by a subscribed member, so good on you mate. I think the first place to start is Mr F (aka Mike Feeney). You can find him in the trader section under MJP auto's. He deals with all Nissan OEM parts so if this was an official Nissan product he may be able to get it for you. If not I guess you can always try Courtesy Nissan in the States or even Ebay.

Fook me, I'm trying to get rid of turbo chatter. I have bovs already, And they seem to be letting of nice and low down in the rev range, but I get a lot of chatter at about 15 - 16 psi. I think once I start running 21 - 24 psi I'm, going to need to come up with a better solution if my HKS SQL bOVS can't handle the pressure.

White Smoke - bad
It's probably exhaust putty they use for gasket, the zorsts get very hot and it will smoke until it burns off. If it still does it in 50 miles then you have a problem.

What is happening to our club ?
I feel for what you are saying. I have seen a lack of events in the south compared to what it was 3 years ago when I was last active. However saying that Mark (Topless) has organised what looks to be a very promising day. Personally I can't agree with the "not getting our monies worth" bit. Purely for the information I get from this site. I feel it's worth allot more than £20. I guess for more experiened owners who know most of it already it may seem like it has nothing to offer.
